Again can someone tell me how to do spoiler tags as if we're going for the full meltdown effect, I would like to post this final bit.
I don't think I've ever seen spoiler tags on this forum dude, your best bet is to just put up a massive spoiler warning at the top of your post then put in a couple of linebreaks so people can easily skip your post if you want. Already know what you're talking about btw, and it's pretty glorius.

You never see your LI again even if you survive as the Normandy crashlands on a distant planet with no relay to take them back.

Alpha isn't talking about the location of the SR2 by any chance?
Yea.

The Flashback ISN'T a glitch.
The video files aren't even in the game.

Excuse me? How exactly isn't it a glitch? That'd be even more retarded.

There are only videos of Anderson(the SA guy got this wrong or they changed it), Liara, Ash, and Kaidan. They didn't even bother to put the ME2 characters in there.
This was intentional.

I for one commend BW for not allowing the easy, "And you and your LI lived happily ever after." ending.

I'm afraid it's going to hurt them in the long run, to have such a heavy handed "no happy endings" is beyond extreme. I'm sure there's more than one person that'll laugh maniacally at this, but I can't see this kind of ending to a popular series as good for bringing in more customers and fans.Bigdoser wrote...

Not mad, just... saddened that it's to the point where this is encouraged. Don't we have enough wrong in the world already to deny a little happiness in our entertainment?

So, basically either the writers want to send a big FU to the fanbases of the other LIs or they are just stupid?
Because I really cannot see how a smart decision process which takes the different fanbases feelings into account could have otherwise concluded in this result.

You saved the universe and trillions of lives and possibly even your entire crew at the cost of one noble, heroic sacrifice. Any happier and it just gets sappy.

Stranding Shep seems like the easy way out. It's no more 'heroic' than having him try and return to a life of normality, rebuilding and helping others with the LI at his side.
I wanted this. Living in a basically post-apocolyptic world isn't a sunshine and rainbows ending by any stretch (nor would such an ending make any sense), but this is just...crazy. I expected at least one of the endings to be like that...but it looks like we all get the same ending, just in three slightly different flavors...COME ON.

Thank god I read the spoilers for this as if I had played the game, I would have literally put my controller through the TV.

I'm seeing a lot more than one sacrifice in what I've read. I'm not even talking about Shepard, but the galaxy we know as a whole seems to cease to exist entirely if I'm understanding this correctly.
