According to a post reveal interview with Chobot, yes we can.
Apparently, everyone is up for romance by both Shepards.

So they went with that idiotic DA2 garbage. How typical. Not that I'm surprised about nerdbait Chobot there, but for people like Ashley, Garrus, etc. this is bull****. What happened to them saying they weren't going to take that route?

It's still unknown, not sure why people are saying otherwise. Steve, Sam and Chobot are the only new gay romances that we know are definitely in the game.

I have to be honest here guys, but who is this Chobit chick in real life? I know who she will be in the game, but I've never heard of her before.

a PSP licker who was hired by IGN to nerdbait for them.

Haha, gotcha.

EA

It's not EA, it's $. Though I am kind of curious to know why they think this will pay off. Surely making everyone bi is going to alienate some homophobes from Bioware.

Next thing you know, ME4 will let the player character undergo sex change surgery.

Wah wah wah, Bioware finally decided to do something they planned to do for the previous two games as noted due to people digging through game files and discovering that the dialog for these options were already recorded.  Wah wah wah.

Wah wah wah.  I have to deal with the fact that lines of dialog that I'll never have to witness or experience as long as I don't choose the obvious dialog option that triggers them being on the disc.  Wah wah wah.

What a typical response. They never "planned" to make everybody bisexual in either ME1 or ME2. But it's easier for you to ignore the fact that they simply had both Shepard voice actors do all of the dialogue for Shepard regardless of gender.

I hate to break it to you but characters shouldn't be made bisexual for the sake of some whiny obessive fans who feel "oppressed" or whatever if they don't get the option to sleep with whoever the **** they want. God forbid that some characters have defined sexualities like real people. That would have made you sad. Pandering to an audience before quality writing...

Saints Row 2 already does. Works for the game!

Weren't Ashley and Kaidon originally supposed to be bi in the first place, with actual dialogue in the game, expect it was cut because they didn't have time to finish it?

If that's the case, its not really much of a retcon as you could easily say they were just closeted.

It doesn't matter to me either way.  My dudeShep isn't going to experience any dialog that involves flirting with Kaidan or James or whomever it is that lacks woman parts.  It doesn't matter to me.  It shouldn't matter you since it does nothing to impact your experience.

Ashley in your universe will still be straight.  If someone wants their Shepard to have some (awesome) love scenes with Ashley, Miranda, or both at the same time or whomever, it shouldn't matter because it will not be forced upon your eyes and ears.

They considered making them bisexual using the same lines for both genders but they didn't believe "it would do the character's justice" and so it was cut. Take that however you wish.

Also in before flame war.

This is BSN. It's everybody's duty to rage for stupid reasons. Seems nobody can get their facts straight on this matter. Kaidan I can understand but I don't see how it fits Ashley's character. And do they really need to make Vega and Kaidan bi?

In a game with dozens of romance options only 2 of them are open for gays, does that really seem like bioware is pandering to the "opressed minority" like you love to rage about?

Honestly i hate like the "suddenly bi" gimmick and i will be romance the actualy gay character instead. But your atitude makes me happy that bioware give people more options.

And Vega is NOT BISEXUAL, he is STRAIGHT and has a romance with femShep. Even tho there is no sex because he actually understands proper military conduct, he rejects femshep sexual advances and tell her to wait after the mission is over. That actually made him my favorite new character.

Ahhh!!! Out of all the characters, why would you choose Chobot?!? You're better off romancing a Batarian or a Varren. D:

I still am hoping for an EDI romance just so I can have the closest thing I'd imagine video games would give to an asexual romance.

I don't get who this chobbot girl is and why she is so hated, but she is VA for the new reporter girl isn't she? I saw screens of that character with her name tagged on it.  The character model doesn't look bad.
Ashley all the way for me though.

My attitude? People are so easily offended these days. It just seems silly that both of the human males it's possible to have on your squad would be bi.

Ten bucks says he succumbs to blue sack and jumps her before she fights the Reapers.
