I have no problem with her on silver. I'm still leveling up the class, so I haven't done gold yet. She’s good going against Cerberus, but I think she'll be even better when going against more organic enemies like husks, collectors, etc due to her elemental powers. No Snakes Alive wrote...
Quarian Engineer absolutely dominates on the lower difficulties but isn't as good at Gold as the Human Engineer who has massive crowd control between the Chain Lightning Drone and Chain Overload (both on almost insta-cast). I do love both though and would agree that the Quarian is underrated.

I, personally, think the human adept is far better at managing multiple enemies whereas the asari adept is superior than all other classes at handling 2 of 3 enemies.
Singularity is actually a fantastic ability. I've leveled up mine to deal damage per second while they're floating and to detonate when the duration runs out. I've actually gotten quite a few kills because of it surprisingly. But I think the best thing about singularity is how much more useful it is as a "trap." Whenever I'm in a room and there are two entrances, I just set singularity down on one end and it's safe. Guardians can't get by, Troopers are stupid enough to walk into it. Nemesis and Centurions avoid it completely. I've even managed to singularity phantoms quite a few times so they're open to warp bombs and damage.
Shockwave is useful (I have lift shockwave) but the ability is buggy as hell. The radius should be increased a small amount. Even if it's just .5 of a meter I'd be happy. I've seen it shoot between two enemies and do absolutely nothing. Also, the lifting ability seems to only affect one enemy at a time. It'd be great if it could affect all enemies in the row who don't have shields. I use shockwave, lift one - it hits another and shoot him then shoot the one falling down. It's still fine, but I'd like the lifting effect on everyone.

Given that unguarded enemies are a rarity on Gold, your point becomes moot on that difficulty. Although I will agree that they are leagues more fun and useful than asari on lower difficulties.

I've played w/ Adept and got to wave 10 on gold. So..my point still stands. They may have shields, but I can shoot them off easy. Troopers never get shields.

From what I've read here it seems like most people would put an Asari Adept as one of the top classes, up there with a Salarian Infiltrator, so I don't think they're underrated at all.HYENA-21 wrote...
