Please, DO use missiles, when surrounded by phantoms and you are in a revive marathon without any positive surviving chance. Aiming at the ground is enough.

Please, DO remember that you have 8 missiles in your team.

Very true Cobra Missiles are for emergency use, far too often I see people using them early and then not having any when they need them

I tend to use one in wave 9 or 10(when you get two atlases clumped together, can anyone say clusterf***?), then the next if extraction gets hairy.

I dump most my missiles on the double Atlas combos in wave 9/10. That and as the "oh **** Phantoms" countermeasure.

Using Missiles before wave 9 is usually a very poor tactical choice, or a last resort measure.

Remember: It's better to blow all your rockets/medigels/Boosters on wave 10 to finish the objective than it is to wait until the extraction.

If you all die at the extraction, you miss out on a few XP points.

If you all die before the Objectives are completed, you don't get a huge credit bonus....

Most of all, don't ever, ever, ever, use a missile on a Last Enemy Atlas. That's just poor decision making.

Was wondering about this.  I deleted the demo so I can't check for myself, but is there friendly splash damage for missles?  Like if I'm surrounded by phantoms and panic shoot a rocket nearby would it kill me too or just the enemies?

I thought I was supposed to use the missile launcher when the Atlas has only 5 bars of armor left. Duh-DOY.

I want to punch a kitten every time I see someone waste a rocket on an Atlas that was not a direct threat. It should be used as a life saver, that's all, not as a faster/easier way to complete an objective. Except maybe during the extraction especially on Gold in order to get more XP and clean the enemies.

Matter of fact, my adept is one of my more deadly classes, and Stasis + Carnifex is a lethal combo.. Just puttin it out there.

Also; don't use it on an Atlas when it's already on its last healthbar! This happend way more often than it should.

People should learn to play smart on Silver/Gold. Normal kill waves should not be a problem as long as somebody doesn't go Rambo mode and drag his whole team into helping him, thus creating a major cluster****/****storm. Cobras are most useful on objective waves - they're not killstreak material. Everytime I see someone waste their missile just because they got a 5in1, I cringe and put on a disappointed sadface.

Also in round 8 if you go down and are about to get curb stomped use your medi gel! That probably goes for round 7, but don't use it in round 1.
