Something about physx is stopiing the game from launching now. Which is strange since I wasnt aware that ME3 used physx and it was working last week. Hoping this wont cause a problem for the 6th. Any ideas.
Physx not letting the game launch

Try to re-download the PhysX drivers from nvidia's site? ME3 demo works fine for me, but when I first installed ME2 on my new OS (w7 64bit), I had to download the PhysX stuff from nvidia's site, even though I have ATi graphics card which doesn't even use PhysX. Game works fine and I haven't noticed anything negative.

one way could be that you upgrade your Graphic card to the latest. because if its NVidia like with me, it should fix/install Physx while upgrading/fixing/Installing new settings etc.

Try right clicking the game and hitting repair. Worked for me. It's a very stupid bug though so I feel your pain.

phsyx is not just for nvidia cards.
physx as software mode (used in games like Batman Arkham city and Asylum) which is similar as the widely used HAVOK. (now owned by intel)

Havok is much preferable to me, Intel and AMD both support it vs the nVidia only physx.
Origin has a repair feature? I'll try that when I get home. But its strange as it did work initially then i decided to come back for a bit more MP to get the blood pumping in preparation for the 6th.

Repair install does not work. Driver update does not work. Uninstall and reinstall does not work. This is on an XP Pro machine with more than the minimum and less than the recommended system specs. Want to know what's really wierd??? My Vista laptop with a 2.4ghz cpu, 4 gb of ram and an INTEL4500M runs the damn demo! Can someone please explain this to me???

if you have a nvidia card.. check your physx options inside the nvidia driver control panel, and turn off hardware physx..
perhaps the demo is bugged up when it tries to use hardware-based physics.
neither ATI nor INTEL support hardware accelerated physics with HAVOK yet. (ATI as show demos..)
PhysX can in Nvidia.
but you guy need to understand that like havok.. Physx of Nvidia as a SOFTWARE PHYSICS (using the cpu) mode.
also, remember that physX is a different package from the default nvidia drivers.
you can for example.. need physX but not the nvidia drivers (Ie, when you're using ATI video cards but the game needs software physx files)

Repair fixed it.
And I was under the impression that Havok was being accelerated by AMD since 5xxx.
There is NO REASON why my computer needs physx drivers if my computer DOES NOT use it. And thats the main reason i hate it and it must die. There is no logic to this apart from nVidia trying to bloat up everyone who doesnt use their software's computer. There is also no reason why this cant be accelerated by AMD cards.
