Because she is the conventional beauty?
I guess That is the reason why she is so well liked.
Thougths?

P.s.: Look I dont hate her. She is really professional at what she is doing.
In the end she even quits Cerberus.
I am just not interested in a romance with her.

I found he an arrogant **** (the whole perfectionist attitude) who none of my companions liked i.e. Garrus "half of us don't even trust you"

Although she does show a warm human side she is still a tad annoying

I like Miranda for a lot of the same reasons I like Ash. She's strong, independent, confident, competent, and pushes herself to ridiculous limits out of a sense she has to measure up. She's also an amazing contradiction; the perfect woman with low self esteem.

I like Miranda for her progress in game. From cold Cerberus b*tch to trusted friend who can put TIM in his place.

Pretty much this. Also she's a very good squadmate in ME2 with overload, warp and squad damage.

Why I like her? Because she's a reasonable believable character, she's not a marry-sue, she isn't '' perfect '' -- She's like any other Human, has flaws, insecurities and strengths, which build an overall round/dynamic character.

I speak for myself, but Miranda's appearance, particularly her exaggeration curves, are one of the things that I really dislike, and I also know many other Miranda fans which share my opinion, so her character's likability does not resort to her appearance, on the contrarily; She'd be a lot better without the traits mentioned in the previous sentence.

Thus your '' appearance remark '' is void.

I will dwell within a bit of details, even trough it is not my place to unravel her qualities, each player should assess an opinion for him/her, provided he/she is interested and posses the mental capacity to see the qualities of each character, and finally make a perspective -- Do I like X, or do I not?

Can't see the reason of the OP, but I'll oblige.

She's efficient in whatever task at hand, acts according to the situation, she's professional, which given her position as Cerberus Second in Human is perfectly natural and as the story unravels, she sheds her layers and let us become acquainted with the person beneath, which is very good character development. I also like the pragmatic attitude.

I didn't get that feeling from her at all.  I always got the feeling that she felt that the modifications that her father made on her were a burden.  That she felt less of a human, and less in control of herself, and as a result she did not feel like she was equal to anyone on the ship.  I liked that, and that was why I made her my love interest in ME2.

I didn't like her at first, but when I actually went through all her dialogue she became a much more interesting character.

Not everybody likes her. She gets just as much hate/dislike as all ( of the characters but especially the) LIs get.
And you may call her "the conventional beauty" but a lot of people ridicule her looks and think she looks ugly. And then there are people who like her solely because of her looks.

For me she's my favourite character. She's strong and independant, she's a loyal friend, she's passionate and (and this is why I prefer her to Ash) professional. She may have been designed to be perfect but she's human. And she has an interesting background story. I also think the writing for her is pretty damn good as you really get to know her better as the game progresses and she warms up to you, it feels natural which wasn't really the impression I got from the other characters...

I like that she questions your motives and skills in the beginning. Most of the Mass Effect squadmates just throw themselves on you and trust you right from the start. You really have to earn her trust.

Miranda is a very well implemented character because its just as fun to have your Shepard hate her then love her. Even indifference translates very well into the dialogue choices the game gives you.

Thats why as a player she is one of my favorite character.
But my canon Shep certainly would desagree.

She's a good character but personally her "holier then thou art" attitude is a major turn off.

I don't. Think she sucks hard.

Most of her casual fans seem to like her for her body. (My brother and one friend included)
