Question:Rumour regarding messed up endings.

I have mixed emotions of what I want to do now. The entertainment value mixed with our tears will be too tempting to ignore during those first few weeks but I also want to play now and see what possible worst ending I could get.

Here my idea. You finish it in 1-2 day and then come and see the mess. I know I will

edit: actually, nevermind. All he'll have to do is lock threads. There's no feedback to gather. The story is over.

During a space battle and ONLY this ship gets thrown here and all the other ships just keep fighting?!? Oh and the two people with Shepard somehow teleport back to the ship (instead of waiting on Earth for Shepard) and end up on the Eden planet too?
That makes sense?
THAT'S GOOD WRITING?!?
Why does that sound so familiar......
Damm you thats going to bug me now until I figure it out.
I dont find that funny...

Aren't there supposed to be 6 different endings? I find it hard to believe they are all completely horrible ...
Well take this with a pinch of salt since it's not first hand.
3 "endings" 3 variations on those ending and something NG+ a seventh ending but no better than the others.
I'm sure someone will set it straight If I got that too wrong.

Ok, for everyone claiming Bioware put realism and storytelling above happy ess and player satisfaction; the endings are wholly unrealistic, totally bollocks, make no real sense, have no explanation for how it works, particularly the so called perfect ending, and you defeat the reapers with the flick of a switch no matter what ending you choose.
The entire thing ends appallingly, not just because it gives fans of the last two games the finger, but because it's flat out badly written nonsense.
The Reapers are defeated no matter what you do, and Shepard does more damage than they get a chamce to do.
This.

Me neither, though I maybe would enjoy the hell that will become the BSN.

Also they forget Tali and Garrus are Dextro, and thus won't be able to eat anything, so are going to slowly starve to death on this planet.
Best writing EVAH!

Ironicly, people complian that the ending of ME2 was unrealistic because every one could live...I guess bioware listened.magnuskn wrote...

I'm notcomplaining that people like different thing. Just that they sould be realistic when looking to the ending of this game....I was never going to be a happy ending.magnuskn wrote...

Complining that the character doesn't live is just fanservice. Just like with Reven in tor. And looking at what they did with Reven in tor with Drew being the head writer of that game....I'm guessing he would done the same to Shepard.
And now on "Empty Catchphrase Theater", Dreman complains that people like different things than he does.
And that's wrong. Hey, you were sent on a suicide mission in ME2. Not much wiggle room there in the phrasing, eh?
Oh, wait, I brought everybody back, because I put the necessary work into doing so ( arguably there could have been more work involved, though... ).
How exactly would I expect ME3 to be a fundamentally different story? Sorry, but I am left supposing that a hopeless scenario is just what you want to see there ( hence condemning every other view as "fanservice" ).

I admit I lol'd at that part.
Liara probably made a shrine to Shepard too.

LMAO~ I know I love threads like this because people literally are punching each other on the face through the monitor (literally). The passion of the fandom is strong and it will rage stronger come release day.
I think I'll do the same. ME3 marathon just so I can watch from the sidelines, if not participate in the rage here.

If this is how the story ends, it sucks. I'll avoid Mac Walters games from now on. No need to call me pathetic.

Knowing the consumer is willing to go to the ends of the earth with thier wallet to have thier desired choice of outcome to complete thier Mass Effect experience.
The true end for the Mass Effect trillogy will only be available thru DLC.
But first the fan base will be milked completely dry, then and only then will the final DLC to end the Mass Effect trilogy come to a close.

Yea if the rumors end up being true, I'll be pretty disappointed. And just further proof that Bioware has lost their magic touch.
Its not bioware its a certain "lead writer" <_<
Even if it were, you'd suppose that there are enough people in the decision-making process that someone in the chain of command would go "Mmmmmh..." when the lead writer scribbles out a series of emo dreck endings for one of their biggest franchises. I really can't understand how they can not see what reaction this will provoke.
They probably know what the reaction will be and are probably hoping it won't be as loud as we know it will be so expect 5 to 8 locked threads on the 1st page of the general discussion forum on march 7th and onward.
They better not start doing damage control after what I know . Oh hell no not this time Skyrim got away with Bull S . I and many others will not allow Bioware and the games media scew this garbage

I love how people feel the need to defend terrible things, for the sake of being contrary.
Answer Ryzaki, then, I really need to know how the defenders think this is acceptable:
