Yeah, we've been all but rickrolled. The Russian guy singing is less notorious than the rickroll, but I'm sure the message we're supposed to get is the latter----similar to the way 'rhyme slang' works.

Same here. But the ****storm bioware unleashed is making me happy a bit. Its good to not be alone. Btw, I cannot remember so much negative feedback happening to a game's end in the past. Posting in a legendary thread?

Pardon the wall of text, but here is my attempt to collate all the news that talks about what is currently happening. I've been trying to read all the posts/links/news that has been shown on the thread and I think this will help newcomers catch up on what is happening. I want this to be an impartial list of all the links (both supporters and debunkers), so if anyone finds any more news please pm me and I will gladly edit/update the list as it grows. I'm torn because although "ending DLC" would be nice given how much I HATED the best endings, I don't know how that makes any long-term business sense. I don't know which is worse: Bioware willingly releasing such an anticipated game knowing that it was going to ****** off players or Bioware thinking that those endings were in any way satisfying and then trying to correct after all the feedback.

I've never been so devastated about a fictional work before.

There was space magic... magic til the end, and then we realized you have to put new duracells in your wand if you want to keep it up... SO, batteries replaced and they've got their wands recharged, let the magic complete

i am suprised that the mods are leaving us alone this long... there are many times they could have inserted a ban or removed posts for violations, but they have let us go... probably scared of the outcome of any attempt to censure the situation

Does anyone else feel like this is a new kind of backlash? 
I've lurked around the bioware boards off and on but was too intimidated to post. But after the ending I NEEDED to chat with people about it, and I've seen so many other first time poster posts in this thread. What convinced me to post is that everyone in this thread is so damn positive. For all the stereotypical nerd rage/fanboy whining (does the gaming industry not realize how many women play video games?) being thrown our way it's not the case in reality. For the most part people aren't threatening to rage quit bioware, people are looking for a reason to stay. The backlash isn't we hate you and want you to fail, it's we love you and want you to succeed. Over and over people keep saying how good the game was right up until the space wizard reaper god showed up and all they want is hope that it can be fixed sometime in the future. Not immediately, not even necessarily for free, just admit that the ending failed to give a satisfying conclusion and lets go from there. 
In short Bioware let us love you. We still want to love you.

EMS: 6893 (Still damn close)
Galactic readiness: 97% (since I haven't played since last night but it was 100/99% making the rest higher)

Yeah, I can't play multiplayer (as in internet connection is limited at school) and no one has been able to get over 4000 ems without playing mp at least once. This makes me so angry and sad at the same time...

As much as so many here would be  about Bioware announcing some sort of Ending DLC and inferring that was the plan all along I think it sets a rather omninous precedent for the fan
