I remember when Shepard was running towards the beam and everyone was getting blown up around her. When the beam hit her and she went down I had this very visceral fight or flight response where I wasn't sure if I wanted to exit the game and load up the last save. I thought I had done something wrong and this sense of horror took over as Shepard struggled to stand. The next ten minutes I can easily remember this onslaught of adrenaline and to be honest as it ended I didn't watch it. Do you know what I did? I hopped on the forums to see if what happened was real, if I had made a mistake and I searched for a good hour hoping I had done something wrong and that it wasn't real. It was real but I remember that moment vividly and then the immediate let down when I realized that was it. 40hrs, not a lot of sleep, powering through work as fast as possible to get home, ignoring family and friends for that. But my question did anyone else have that moment where you thought you had made a mistake like maybe zigged when you should have zagged and that's why you got that ending?

I actually thought the game had locked for a minute. I was totally confused. When something finally did happen, I saw all the bodies and figured the squad I had with me (Kaidan and Garrus) had been vaporized and just kind of went numb. Then the GodChild thing happend. Then I cried.

Then I came here.

Someone noticed there is a LegendSave.pcsav which is not even listed at the Load Save menu?
Weird thing its creation date is 5 hours before the autosave (which is created after you choose your favorite space magic color)
AutoSave, ChapterSave, QuickSave and NewGamePlusSave are obvious.

Yeah, it is also right before you can attack Cerberus. I just assumed that it was there just so we could play DLCs. Like in ME2, except that there we could play after the final battle. (which makes sense for us not to do it in ME3). The interesting thing is that it says "legend". Does this mean that the choice of color has been recorded somehow on that save? (leading to an eventual outcome in a future DLC?)

 You know, it's cool if they are releasing the ending after they released the whole game, but I would have liked to get the whole ending when I played the game. I mean, some people took days off work (I was on break from school) just to play it, and now they won't be able to finish it soon(I won't be, not until June).

It's fine, better than being left with a crappy ending, but it would've been nice to get it fully.

I hope this doesn't become a trend in the video game industry...

The thing is we don't know that they ARE going to release endings, for all intents and purposes the "endings" we have no are it! Fin! Stop! Nothing on twitter or on the net except one thing from 4chan, which in my honest opinion is very suspect, says ANYTHING about changing the endings. All we get from twitter is marketing and public relations vague talk that for whatever reason is making some content.

This. I think they will give them some time to end the game first. My bet goes - this weekend or Monday-Tuesday.

This is the way I see it..If the ending were just some kind of dream and not the real ending and they left it out of the game thats just wrong...

I truly want them to come out and say the ending was a big snafu because they were under deadlines that they weren't able to maintain, and that they will fix their screw up. If they do that I will be converted from and ME fan to a BW fan. This is just wishful thinking no company will willingly admit a mistake so they will fuel the indoctrination theory and that it was planned.
