I can understand not wanting to spoil things. But would a simple post or tweet that says, "We will address this at x time" be so hard. If they are waiting for release in Japan to happen or something like that just say "We will not be commenting on anything game related until X time".

Not ignoring people who are understandably angry and betrayed while seemingly retweeting every single positive comment they can get their hands on. It comes across as the digital way of shoving your fingers in your ears and yelling "LALALA CAN'T HEAR YOU. GO AWAY YOU MEANIES!"

i think that next time a highly anticipated game like me3 comes out and they push their release date back, we all spam the living crap out of them with, "JUST GET IT RIGHT, and then release it. Don't pull a ME3." cuz' that's the lesson i learned.

For myself, there is no next time. I waited for this game for over a year. bought it pre-order ( which i never do ) and this is what i get.  No other game meant a damned thing too me, so i went to some pretty extreme lengths. no more.. No more G4, no more IGN.. I'll buy now based on how long a game stays alive in the marketplace. You simply cant trust anyone with reviews any more..

Let me clarify something that seems to be generating some misunderstandings. Some people, on websites, blogs, and in forums (including this one) are claiming that a game is a work of art, someone´s vision, and my only response is to like or dislike it, but deal with it by myself.

The "work of art" metaphor is wrong in this case. What kind of work are we talking about? If we compare to a painting. Well, I can´t complaint about a nude painting. But who did that, and why? If I ordered a painting, and it comes in a way I don´t like, should I just be quiet and accept it? After all, it´s a "work of art".

Art, in this case, games, are made to be sold, and we are not looking inside someone´s house and calling their painting ugly. We paid for that. I can´t demand it to be the way I dreamed about, but I can certainly complaint about it. And make myself heard in anyway I see fit. Of course, as long as it´s in a civil way.

You are selling Shep´s story, and also the story of this universe and its other characters. You are selling something that is, in their own words, "engaging" etc. So, I got hooked up to those characters and everything. Don´t try to use authority arguments to make me feel like I can´t get frustrated for what I bought.

After reading some of (impossible to read all the 1000 pages ) the comments in this thread, I feel better. I swear, I'm studying architecture, I'm from Spain, and I have a final test tomorrow - yet I started playing and finished mass effect 3 this weekend. And after completing most of the game, and watching the endings... I felt kind of hollow.

At first I thought it might have been because I was so attached to the characters (specially Liara, wow, I became so attached to her in Mass Effect 3, after 3 games with her) that I couldn't let go, thinking they would move disconnected from Shepard.

A day after finishing the game, I now know that the endings are just terrible. I've thought them trough, and no, there are too many things wrong, even if the intention of the endings were to leave you thinking of the - given - outcome of the series. Why Bioware, why did it have to end like this? No exploring the galaxy since Mass Effect 1, no hub worlds other than the citadel... it's a gears of war on the galaxy, but with a worse ending.

Awesome game the other 90 %, though. Shame it isn't what it once was. I don't know if you guys care, but this game touched me, and I fell very bad about the ending. The Shepard might be a legend in the galaxy you have created - but it has ceased being one in this galaxy of ours.

You know in the end I think Im going to trust BW to fix this. They're still my favorite Video game maker. And with all this rage we have I think they'll Fix this. Im still super Pissed at this whole thing but here's to hoping we'll get this all sorted out soon. In the meantime though till we do hear something official : HOLD THE LINE

Anyway. The lesson from this is I am going to wait before I buy games in the future. If the games are deemed unsatisfactory by the gamers in general, it will be a no buy for me. Never again I want to be disappointed like this.

Yes. I saw it earlier today and laughed. Maybe part of the problem is that I love the MP and have such a completionist playstyle that I miss out on all of the 'failure' endings.
