So guys if the game did take the indoctrination route...Would that be ok? Or would the outrage continue...I'm just wondering if indoctrination is a well liked or supported theory.
Isn't there still the point of us getting an unfinished game?
Well it would *explain* the endings, there's no doubt about that, but it would still be a massive slap in the face to fans in my opinion, as the idea of Shepard's mind caving at the last moment and falling under reaper control would not only be an affront to all of the things that Shepard stood for. it would also essentially render all of Shepard's actions during the game utterly meaningless and leave me with a sense that the whole struggle against the reapers was for nothing.
The ending does explain the motivations of the reapers pretty well, and that's about all it does IMO

I bet some of them are. It's a good cause, even if you don't agree with the argument about the endings you can't argue that the charity is a bad idea. This isn't just fan-rage, it's productive fan-rage. You can't help but respect that.Dan Rosse wrote...

Yes... but how much can one human take? Even one as awesome as Shepard? Everyone breaks. Question is, when.

Haha sorry. I guarantee any 'fix' is going to take time, and they'll announce it on twitter, facebook, and these forums.

Damm space magic! I was so annoyed the first time I played this, I forgot which "choice" was which.........so i just went forward
It actually doens't tell you(at least not on the Xbox). I mean, if you're not paying attention to the stupid kid, you don't know which one is which because it isn't labeled and it doesn't ask for a conformation before you pick it..I kind of guessed that destroy was on the right.

Have not yet read through the thousand pages of this but I do feel tons better that my hysterical nerd rage wasn't completely out of the blue. Finishing the game around 4 am last Friday (well Saturday really) I was already fried mentally and the endings didn't help. Some of you had more sense than I did; I almost snapped the disc in half when I saw that. The little DLC message too was just a kick in the quad.
Was doing a second playthrough yesterday with the intent to stop at the FOB on Hardcore and realized that I just didn't care anymore. Switched over to narrative difficulty, saw the last cutscenes I wanted to and contemplated putting my collecter's edition on ebay. Pretty sure when my N7 hoodie gets here I'm going to give it away. I never thought in a million years this would be the let down it was. Not even mad anymore, just sad.
There are around 990 +/- pages of people who feel very much like you. The feeling of defeat and helplessness is really disheartening. I've been combating it here, by holding the line.
Thanks. I've been gathering that from keeping up with the posts here. Never really bothered with the forums as they tend to suck up large amounts of time basically gabbing but this is like an AA support group. ME3 was one of two games I'd ever gone a midnight release of and I've lost count of the people I've recommended it to. I'm only so disappointed because I was such a huge fan.
I was trying to explain to other people how big of a letdown it was by comparing it to following a movie series like LOTR or the Matrix or that stupid boy wizard one. I was telling them to imagine the guy camping out at the theater on release night for every film and then the last ten minutes of the third movie explains that the whole thing was a dream of some drunken hobo that hadn't taken his medicine. He stops to pee on a bush and then the screen fades to credits.
Actually, that's almost exactly how ME3 felt. Feck.

I wonder what it takes for them to acknowledge us as a majority? Perhaps more voices than games shipped?

Though it's a bit off-topic, after all of the talk about wanting Jokermance going around, I'm really surprised Bioware didn't offer it as a choice. I liked the Joker/EDI pairing a lot, but I felt like there should have been a choice for the Sheps who were holding out for Joker.
