The set of choices at the end of this game were the first ones where I've ever said "I don't want to pick any of those." I like to think of myself as an experienced gamer and I've played enough to have been given many hard choices across many different games but none of them as irritating as this one. They all felt like variants of getting kicked in the teeth and asked to like it.

Last week I would have never thought we would be living this nightmare...

Digitaltrends Exclusive Interview with Casey Hudson: Ending Response Included
http://www.digitaltr...-controversies/
For those that don't want to read the entire interview, I'll copy and paste the question and answer here. What are your thoughts on the reaction to the game’s endings?
I didn’t want the game to be forgettable, and even right down to the
sort of polarizing reaction that the ends have had with people–debating
what the endings mean and what’s going to happen next, and what
situation are the characters left in. That to me is part of what’s
exciting about this story. There has always been a little bit of mystery
there and a little bit of interpretation, and it’s a story that people
can talk about after the fact.
At least he got one thing right, we are never going to forget the game. That bloody danmed ending is seared into my mind and after 6 days I haven't been able to forget it yet. Even gave me nightmares...

Exactly my feelings.

Yeah, unless it ended up being meant as forumites vs BioWare/EA, polarizing is used terribly wrong there. Unifying is the word.

1.to cause polarization in.2.to divide into sharply opposing factions, political groups, etc.
Friends, we have indeed been polarized. Into hating something that was amazing 99.6% of the time.
George Bush style mission accomplished?
