Anyways here's my response to Hudson's comment:What are your thoughts on the reaction to the game’s endings?
I didn’t want the game to be forgettable, and even right down to the
sort of polarizing reaction that the ends have had with people–debating
what the endings mean and what’s going to happen next, and what
situation are the characters left in. That to me is part of what’s
exciting about this story. There has always been a little bit of mystery
there and a little bit of interpretation, and it’s a story that people
can talk about after the fact.
It's good to have a story that people talk about, but ONLY if they are talking and debating about themes and the meaning of the characters' actions. If people are debating what the **** happened at the end, you didn't write a good ending. Would LotR have had a stellar ending if it all ended with Frodo and Sam about to be fried alive while the rest of the heroes were surrounded by orcs? Would Revenge of the Jedi have been greatly improved if we stopped at the Death Star 2 exploding - without knowing if Luke survived or if the Rebel fleet was winning the space battle? No, because those cut-off points provide no closure and at the end of a series that is what is most important, CLOSURE. We shouldn't have to speculate about the situation the characters are left in. We shouldn't have to interpret anything to figure out the immediate state of the setting, we should be told. We should be told that our work wasn't for nothing, that there is hope for those left.
But we were told...
Basically they told us "You are fu.... anyway!"
See, we have closure... /lol

They didn't get the date right, they should have waited indeed for April's 1st.
But they decided that a twist was better, so they made the fool of us in the 6th March..

Then they will wonder "Why isn't the DLC selling?" By the goddess, when will things start making sense...
All it is is a equipment pack that expires in 141hrs and its all just worthless junk

I'm a little bewildered by the "not having all the facts" issue. I mean, if they want us to calm down, why not release a statement?
"Dear disappointed fans,
The endings are not what you think they are. There's more coming. Hold the line!
Sincerely,
Bioware"
That'd be enough to content me. So what's the point in this oblique silence?
I love this! And I think it would make everyone happy.
I'd heard right before I finished ME3 that the only way to survive was to destroy the Reapers. An unexpected spoiler when I was told but one I was happy to know. Until I finished the game. And realised that Shepard was alive. But EDI wasn't. The geth weren't. I mean really?!? I spent FOREVER working with these people. Shep believed the Geth had a soul. EDI was my Shepards friend. And the ONLY way she lived was if she killed them all?
The only consolation I can give myself is that maybe, maybe just like my shepard the geth and EDI defy the expectations and come back online. And I damn well want a DLC that proves it! Also I want the grand reunion of everyone. I dont want to hear some crap about it being thousands of years ago. I want details! Are there little Shepard-Vakarians in my sheps future? Who else survived the Normandy crash? Or the war? Jack, Miranda, Grunt, Wrex, Jacob, Samara, Kasumi, Zaeed? Well?
Lets face it the ending options sucked. a) kill the Reapers and all those synthetic races you've fought for and cared about but get to live,
And just on a side note... how exactly did Garrus get back on the Normandy? He was with me right before I jumped to the citadel.

It actually doens't tell you(at least not on the Xbox). I mean, if you're not paying attention to the stupid kid, you don't know which one is which because it isn't labeled and it doesn't ask for a conformation before you pick it..I kind of guessed that destroy was on the right.
It doesn't tell you on the PC either, you really have to pay attention to the ghost child. I should have walked to each of them but I was walking so slowly. I got a question though, when the ghost child is telling you about your choices, how come it shows Anderson blowing up the reapers and not Shepard?
because it fits the theory of indoctrine......where its trying to fool you. Anderson would want them destroyed; TIM wanted to control - three intergration.
Well two of the choices is game over; you lose......control; because you end up dead and controlled by them; because if you listen to the boy; he never actually says you can control them only that TIM couldn't as they already controlled him. So choice to destroy is also make to look as a renegade one as they are trying to break your will; specially of your Paragon.....
Once you figure out he's fighting for control of his mind it makes a lot more sense. It doesn't mean I'm not any less annoyed or disappointed in the ending; because well its not an ending. I took a breath; you know there is another story and that's that.
BW didn't end ME; they didn't give us closure - or EA didn't allow BW to give us an ending; but I have a feeling there will be. Its creating massive press about the game; which in fairness is awesome for BW and EA; but its not awesome for; the fans lol.....
As I said; its a damn near perfect game. There's the odd graphic and texture glitches; which I don't care about. Story telling wise; simply amazing until that contrive dribble of an ending. Which its not even an ending its a cliffhanger............

Well, we can't let ourselves be impatient. Already we've gotten some great attention, but if it takes months to hear anything official we've got to be willing to stick it out. We can't get (too) angry no matter how much they try to BS or wait their way out.Meteor_VII wrote...

Shepard is walking through the ruins of London. Looking at dead bodies of both alliance marines and reapers. When suddenly Garrus appears from behind a rock. Looking beaten to hell and back, he stumbles toward Shepard and lays his hand on Shepards shoulder and says;
-"We did it Shepard, I guess it time for that drink now"
Shepard looks at him serious at first, but suddenly smiles. The two walks down a path full of rubble and littered with bodies of dead soldiers. Shepard then takes the courge to ask Garrus about the others in the squad (you were seperated in the last battle).
Garrus turns away, sadden, and tells Shepard that his "love interest" didn't make it, but that she/he did put up a hell of a fight.
Shepard falls to his knees, exausted and grief stricken. Drops his avenger... and you can hear admiral Hackett in the background trying to reach the Normandy tactical squad.
Here the camera slowly zooms out and eventually the picture turns to black.
After this you get an epilouge, in the classic Mass Effect intro style, that discribes how the battle went, what is going to happend and so on. With or without pictures
Or maybe Earth just imploded and everyone, and everything died. Reapers fly away laughing.

Here are some quick examples for open-ended questions, which fans would love to have been given a chance to talk about, upon finishing the game:
- How is Thessia (Palaven, Earth, and so on) going to be rebuilt? Will our crew members perhaps take part in the restoration effort? If so, how?
- Wouldn't it be cool if Garrus became the Primarch?
- Do you think the Krogans will adopt an expansionist policy in the aftermath of the war? Or will 'Eva' beat some sense into Wrex?
- Wow, it turns out that the Asari 'goddess' was an alien after all; perhaps we can get 'chariots of the gods'-inspired DLC in the future? Or maybe an entire game, centered on how the Protheans 'civilize' primitive humans?
- Is Earth going to become the new galactic 'capital' now? How will that work?
- What will become of Cerberus, after the war?
- Will the 'Shepard peace' last in the galaxy? What would threaten it?
- Are the Salarians going to give some sort of 'Marshall aid' to the Asari?
- Why did Vancouver end up looking like a giant airplane terminal while London preserves its contemporary atmosphere? (Was the Citadel modeled after Heathrow airport? If so, where are the escalators?)
- Will Liara keep pursuing the 'shadow broker' career?
- Will there be another great scientific/technological breakthrough, once the galactic civilizations establish peace, and can finally study the new Prothean discoveries, reaper remnants, etc. What could it be? Maybe it will help with the restoration effort?
- Maybe the Geth will rebuild our cities?
----and so on.
We weren't given a chance to 'debate' on questions of this sort. Our best effort so far, to make sense of the 'ending', is that it has to be a hallucination of some sort, given how utterly incongruent it is. The things people have been "talking about after the fact", are things like inbreeding, whether Shepard's LI becomes the broodmother/father of the Normandy colony, death by starvation, whether Shepard becomes a husk, and so on.
There's nothing 'exciting' or 'mysterious' about any of this; it's in plain old bad taste, and an insult to our intelligence.
