So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Please, add that to the OP or something, it sums up all the problems with ME3 perfectly.

Slowly, but surely the rest of the net is proving this "the end haters are wrong/whiny/too negative/ too mainstream"
is completly wrong and out of touch. Damage control is one thing, but to see denial on the other foot is priceless.
When you have something like Forbes agreeing with you, and other "mainstream" gaming sites slowly coming around, you know you have a PR nightmare on your hands.
I wonder when will Bioware realize that this goes way further than a PR nightmare. As it stands i could easilly turn into a legal nightmare with suits been filled against them from delivering an incomplete product, if not fraud itself (if we can prove they knew what they were doing)..
Sadly I am in Brazil...

And I do mean it - I'm actually pretty depressed about this. Odd, when you realize it's just a bloody video game.

if being negative is wanting something you care about to be better then yea I am negative
I'm pretty sure their definition of "negative" in that context is not the same as the dictionary definition.

I didn’t want the game to be forgettable, and even right down to the sort of polarizing reaction that the ends have had with people–debating what the endings mean and what’s going to happen next, and what situation are the characters left in. That to me is part of what’s exciting about this story. There has always been a little bit of mystery there and a little bit of interpretation, and it’s a story that people can talk about after the fact."
Interview with Casey Hudson on the 3/13/2012
http://www.digitaltr...-controversies/
It seems like bioware is happy with the ending? I was under the impression they were being rushed by EA
I really am interested to know what the makers really think about the endings. They arent as varied as they said they would be...and I remember an interview with bioware saying there would be epilogues for individual characters.
Hmmm.

Lots of people have gotten connected with a lot of different games over the years. Nothing I'd call abnormal, and really nothing to feel awkward for. Hopefully, you'll get through the depression stage and into the pure resolve stage. I know I was down for a couple days, this thread significantly helped if i say so myself. We just gotta keep holding.

You had the chance to make it live for decades, maybe forever in the minds and hearts of fans. And now it´s just totally forgettable.
And actually can generate some other things. By that time after ME1 and 2 I was playing it again and again. I can't think of myself playing ME3 again. Can't stand something with that bad closure. When you "live" a game like that, which means, really interpret the character, you just don't want to do it all knowing that the end is so empty and dull. Forgettable, I should say.

All of us here are really emotionally invested into this series. I'v never been so invested and loved a video game series so much(and probably never will 3with anything else).
I'm still in shock mode at the moment, completed the game an hour or 2 ago. When I wake up tommorow I'm expecting to hit that depressive state too. WE WANT BETTER ENDINGS BIOWARE

Oh man, definitely not. I've been patrolling the hell out of BSN, Reddit, 4chan, twitter, facebook.. just hoping for something. ANYTHING!
I know there wont likely be any official word until after the game's final launch in Asia, but damn.. I'm so hopeful. I feel like a puppy who got accidentally locked outside all night. Please let me in, Bioware. I'm cold.

Good luck getting that to stick.. I'd much rather avoid throwing around the legalese. If it ever comes to a point I have to sue a company to get what they promised/were most definitely capable of, it means I just won't be a customer of said company anymore. I'm not going to take EA to court over anything (assuming there was any merit in the first place). I will, and am however not buying EA/Bioware products/renewing my, or others I pay for's TOR subscription until I'm satisfied with the outcome of my complaint.
Besides, threatening to sue a company on their own forums is just looking for trouble

Yeah, I haven't had an appetite for the last couple of days. I actually had to talk to my Dad about the ending because it was eating at me. Made me feel a bit better.
Never thought I'd get so upset over a video game!

I hope people keep posting this so that Bioware sees it at least once. Adding it to the OP would be super (if the OP is still around!). It perfectly sums up what this entire thing is all about! We really aren't looking for some sunshine and rainbows ending, or even what we personally wanted, but something that does this amazing trilogy justice.
Honestly, the ME trilogy, for me, has been the best series I've ever played and ME3, up until those last 10 minutes, was easily the best game I've played in nearly forever. Not taking into account the ending, I applaud Bioware for putting together such an amazingly fantastic game in ME3.
