As should be said every few pages (no one's doing it right now): let's make sure to be cool and civil. Especially to the folks at Bioware. Not only did they work hard to create this awesome franchise but they're human beings as well, so we shouldn't bash them. Again, nobody's doing it right now, but I figured someone should post something to this effect every few pages since this thread moves so fast.

Also, if someone hasn't see this yet:

I just got off the phone with a friend who just finished ME3, he only recently go got a gaming pc for the first in his life and asked me to lend him "the most engaging games i've ever played, i lent him my good old copies of ME and ME 2 for him to play

In just three weeks he played both the games( as an avid paragon) and rushed with me to buy a Collector's edition of ME 3, his first real collector's edition.

...

He was heartbroken, he didn't rage, he didn't even say he'd never play a Bioware game again, he just aked why or if I knew that deadlines compromsied the game development. It was a tough talk.

Know how he feels....feels even worse when reading how many people got so depressed over this.

Ugh. It's been 72 hours since "winning" for me... and I still feel like trash. I'll feel better for a bit, then swing right back into despair.

And I do mean it - I'm actually pretty depressed about this. Odd, when you realize it's just a bloody video game.

Yeah, I haven't had an appetite for the last couple of days. I actually had to talk to my Dad about the ending because it was eating at me. Made me feel a bit better.

Never thought I'd get so upset over a video game!

You aren't.  You're upset over a story, and stories are powerful things.  Even more so when we have the illusion of participating in it; in seeming like we're given the power to help write it.  A good story is as old as civilization.  A good story is something people would stand in the Globe Theatre for - for four or six hours, standing - to escape a bit, to hear a clever exchange between memorable characters, to empathize with the hero and shake their fist at the villain.

A good story appeals to our emotions as well as our intellect.  A great story resonates in our moral and ethical choices as people, as a culture.  A well-crafted tale has integrity, has weight, has power.  It stays true to itself; it pulls you in and makes you care, because you see reflections of yourself in the characters, in the choices.  You see ideas and choices you may never have thought of; you visit a world in someone else's mind.

And add to all this your own participation, the sense of accomplishment in having arranged everything *just so*, staying true to those ideals and choices you believe in - or just wanted to explore - or just wanted to see what would happen in a "safe" manner.

And then, finally, crumple it all up in a ball and throw it out a window.

*That's* why you're upset.  Not because of a game.

I didn't like that, that guy was being disrespectful. They are human beings like us, they have feelings.

i just replied to that guy with
"@LostTurntable @GambleMike dude, not the way to handle this. the rest of us are actually being civil about this."

And I thought I may be one of a minority..
Even IF there will be little blue children (Liara could be pregnant, however an asari birth works or how long it takes..) they don't have a mother. All Liara can do is, to tell them stories about her Sheppard and how they saved the galaxy several times. (remove that paragraph and replace it with your own LI outcome)
How you dare, people who cut off the end, or who ordered to do so. (no names said)

Even if they aren't going to do anything about the endings aka ending right now it would be a show of good faith if they would at least pitch in and make a donation themselves. Not only would they help a good cause they would let us know that they are sympathetic to our struggle. Hold the line!
