So we can't get the ending we want after all?

...all wiped out in one sentence: "the Reapers have taken the Citadel." Just like that. All dead, mangled, and, for some reason, discarded under the floorboards with the Keepers,,,? Like, not even processed or seen having gone down where they might've fought. Just: "the Reapers have taken the Citadel."
i know a lot of people have talked about going back with a higher score, hoping to catch a glimpse of some half-gasp from maybe-Shepard.
I keep having the opposite thought:
Given how set in stone the ending is, what is the MINIMUM i could have done? The side quests, the peacemaking, the creating of this galactic coalition... how much did I really need to do? "Bloody little" seems to be the answer. If you charge in towards the ending with that "minimum" line reached - wouldn't you get the same A B C choice ending? Wouldn't Anderson still be dead, the Illusive Man still toast, and no option other than shooting him unless you're a perfect Paragon (another thing I hate - after all the grey in the series, you need to be as inflexible as an Asari Justicar to actually have more than one choice, at your last real ME choice?)
Bah, bah, and bah.

Does anyone else interpret "We respect your opinion" from the official Twitter account as really meaning "We don't, in fact, care"?
Because I'm getting that vibe.

Oh, they have respect... for money and for their jobs.
Idealism is pretty much dead these days... that's why the charity thing is good counter to their ignorance... I hope more media picks up on that! Does wonders for stock values.^^

Yeah, it's very disconcerting. All we can do right now, is hold the line. Keep up the fight and hope that we eventually get through.

Bioware sort of played themselves into that one...

@macwalterslives loved #ME3 but endings decidedly sour, not bittersweet. read as epitaph where an ode to ME would be more appropriate.

Because that's exactly what they mean. At this point it seems Bioware couldn't care less about us, and they are only concerned on how the game price has dropped. They still believe we are a minor bump on the road that will go away soon enough, therefore, they only have to wait for us to quit...

I'm gonna go with the theory that you still can't believe the endings were real.

As a reminder: let's try to keep the insults aimed at Bioware to a minimum (I probably sound like a broken record at this point). If we keep it to a minimum and stay civil they'll be more likely to take us seriously. Everyone here has a very strong opinion of the whole thing, so let's keep that reaction positive!
This is one of the times you NEED to sound like a broken record, We need to stay civil.

Way too many people didn't play the ME2 DLC. In "The Arrival" you delay the reaper invasion by destroying a mass effect relay in a colonial Batarian system at the edge of the galaxy. The massive amount of energy stored in the relay wipes out the system killing over 300,000 colonists. The result of this is the reason you start off ME3 as decommissioned, and part of the side conversations about why the Batarians are so ticked off at you.
TLDR: In the ME universe destroying a mass effect relay creates a MASSIVE explosion.
Hold the line...

Because the story and characters are awesome up until you meet the ghost reaper space wizard kid. Pretend after you talk to Anderson you get to hit the Reaper off swith and just turn off the game.
