Put me in as someone saying that the ending was horrible. My Shep died even though I did every single mission possible that I could find. Add up how terrible the ending was and i truly feel angry and betrayed by Bioware and the over 200 hours I have put into ME1-3.

Seriously, I put 53 hours alone into ME3 and found it to be incredible.... and then you get to the end and it's just horrific, overly scripted, unsatisfying, and undercut all the effort I put into the single player campaign.

Some sites note that I needed a 4000 strength to survive but how do I get that? I ended up with 3520 despite busting my butt to finish every possible side quest and N7 mission, even gettng some solid paragon persuades to get multiple resources like the Geth and the Quarians.

I feel hollow in my stomach, the intense joy over the last week just utterly vanished. They crafted a masterpiece and then destroyed it with an ending that no one wanted.

I'm angry right now but I think I am done with Bioware. 20 minutes to destroy years of love. It seems overwrought but that is how I feel. Sorry Bioware but you're wrong and the fans are right here: if you worked hard like I did in the single player campaign, Shep lives and settles down with his or her love interest and is either kicking butt in the galaxy, you know the ones with mass relays, or acting as a diplomat.

Bioware needs to fix the ending, it undercut our emotional investment, is a lie as near as I can tell (because you can't seem to get the best ending with only the single player game or gotta be perfect). They know how to create an incredible ending like ME2 and ME2 yet here...

Sorry, I'm done with them. No DLC, no Dragon Age 3. You don't throw players who invest the time that we do into these games under the bus like that.

 The unity and generosity I am witnessing in this community is humbling.

To whoever it was who just made that substantial donation: thank you. Even if nothing happens from all of this in regards to the game, you've donated money to a very worthy cause. Thank you.

Yeah, really, that not only takes a big wallet but a big heart. Whoever you are, you are the man! (or woman :D)

As a reminder: let's try to keep the insults aimed at Bioware to a minimum (I probably sound like a broken record at this point). If we keep it to a minimum and stay civil they'll be more likely to take us seriously. Everyone here has a very strong opinion of the whole thing, so let's keep that reaction positive!

I agree. Still it's funny/interesting that on here where things are actually civil, funny and insightful  we aren't really talked about (that I have seen anyway) anywhere on Twitter or with the Bioware staff in general. But those who are insulting and down right mean get a lot of attention. Those seem to be the ones that are making this look like we have no class.

Don't get me wrong, get mad but do so in such a way that they have no choice but to pay attention. They can just brush off an insult, but when anger/ concern actually has calmness, civility, passion, not to mentio and more more people backing us up, then things become something that can't be ignored.

To quote Max Payne: We are ninjas, and our kun fu is strong.

Something just hit me. We do have more than 3 choices at the ending..

Let's go over them:

1) You let the husks kill you on the way to the beam (it's still a choice);
2) Instead of going up the beam, you go home to watch the Simpsons (or Futurama);
3) You let TIM kill Anderson or you shoot TIM to save Anderson (though he bleeds out anyway);
4) You either kill TIM or talk him into killing himself;
5) You let TIM kill you; (better than the color endings)
6) You Choose: Door 1;
7) Door 2;
8) Door 3;
9) You hit the POWER SWITCH
10) Youhit the RESET SWITCH;
11) You just ALT+F4
12) You get up and start screaming like a little girl;
13) You jump out of the windows (I actually thought this to be less painful than watching the end)

See people, we do have multiple endings. All we need is some creativity like the one Bioware showed us..

/Salute

Apparently it's also possible to turn and walk away from the creepy GodChild and fall off the edge of the map, becoming suspended in the middle of space and locking the game. I haven't tried it personally, but I kind of want to.

Actually there is only one ending.

In light of how this has all made us feel, my girlfriend showed me this earlier today. I think it's worth a share.

Casey Hudson's statements about the end have made me the most hurt. I dont know how many times he threw around the word divergent in regards to the ending. Its the definition of convergent. Really respected that guy.

Welcome, good sir, to the twilight zone. Would you like your ME ending to be  blue or red? On Tuesdays it can be green. :police:

I would say that Bioware (or someone from BW) made the big donation. And I´m not being ironic here.

Thrilled at the donation jump, regardless of the results of the petition. I had noticed the link was floating around some of the VA Twitter pages, so perhaps someone well off or generous saw it.

Though it might be better to keep that to the appropriate topic. Still, nice to know.

So if anyone is wondering who just donated $20, yeah that was me, I'm a pretty big deal over here. The 10k person? Oh I saw them in line, said they didn't have time to talk, something about cleaning up an oil spill or feeding the homeless or something. Seemed nice.

Hold the line!

There is a thread that dares Bioware to match the donations we are getting so far.. So, it's a possibility, but I don't know...
