@Penguin: Fairly certain it throws you to the save before the Cerberus base, seeing as you can't do anything directly after it

This, honestly, would be one of the coolest moments in gaming history if a community could band together to save such a fantastic game from such a terrible ending. I'm touched by everything that's happened so far.
And it looks like we might do it
Holding the line, and proud to be doing so. Don't know any of you, but I love all of yah.

Forgive me if this has already been mentioned - I haven't read through the entire thread - but did anyone else notice that after the credits, when you get kicked back into the game, the quest Priority: Cerberus Headquarters is still active? Maybe I'm just grasping at straws, and it's likely just a bug, but that could mean something. In both ME and ME2 there were no active quests after the conclusion. I guess I'm just trying to hang on to any shred of hope possible.
It just flashes you back so you can do the mission again.
Basically it's a last kick in the proverbial nuts stating that Shep is dead, can't go on.

Donate is really a rewarding thing by itself and im very proud to be part of this, even if we don't get what we want with this campaign, im pretty sure we are some god dawn heroes.
I agree - donate! It actually made me feel one heck of a lot better about this whole mess. And, I mean, think of the kids.

Just want to point out that if these "endings" are real then the Mass Relays would have killed everyone when they exploded. Like in the Arrival DLC. I'm not sure if anyone else had pointed that out yet, too many pages ME3 rage to look through.
I actually hadn't played that DLC, after beating ME3 I was gonna do another run through all 3 and make sure I had all the DLC. ... yeah, not gonna do that now unless BW does something
So I'm glad people are bringing that up, that's a HUGE discrepancy, how can that be explained through the hallucination ending? As well as such a beautifully bittersweet ending with Anderson? And I think I missed something else in my 1 playthrough, how do we know the beam that hits us in Harbinger again?

Suppose the cryptic "wink wink" from Twitter isn't a retcon and there really has been, all along, Something Planned. I cannot draw a line from "the game as it was released" to "...and then we push out an update with the real ending" that makes any kind of sense.
I just... what th...
How far removed and totally out of touch with a game's fan base do you have to be, to think that this is a good idea..? I feel like ME's status as a "guaranteed seller" would make it a prime target for a clueless exec who wants to test a new DLC delivery method: cut the product off at the kness - something you've really hooked people on - then sell them the resolution, effectively marking up the price of the game without seeming to mark up the price of the game.
Bioware, I really would like to continue to be your customer. I would like to keep my SWTOR subscription, as would my guild. I would like to look forward to seeing how you integrate the systems you've evolved in ME3 into future titles. But I respect myself and my hard-earned cash too much to give in to extortion. If this all leads up to some ill-conceived marketing trick or publicity stunt to generate artificial controversy - and I'll say it again, unpopular != controversial - some push for paid DLC you're hoping we'll be so desperate for we'll shell out another 5, 10, 20 bucks for just so we can get a more satisfying ending - then you will have lost a long-time customer forever, and over a cheap trick. Don't make me do this.
