Ehh... bad plan, if true. The reviews and blogs are out NOW. I would definitely NOT want to be launching in new territories like this. To think that this won't affect sales from day one, with people deciding to wait and see rather than rushing out and buying it... you'd have to be an egotistical delusional exec- wait. The most likely theory is the easiest one: Bioware doesn't want to say anything until the game is out everywhere. Japan doesn't get the game until the 15th. If Bioware makes a comment before those fans can get their hands on it then they'd run the risk of spoiling things, which I can respect.
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Sadly nothing as exciting as the spontaneous 10K but for a college kid's budget I gave what I could.
In the end i'm probably gonna break even on all the ME3 DLC I don't buy =P (Unless it's some more endings of course!)
Hold the Line.

I'm still surprised by how civil everyone is in this thread. Let's keep it that way - and let's make sure to remain civil to the Bioware and EA folks. We have grievances, sure, but they're people, too. Let's all play nice.

This, honestly, would be one of the coolest moments in gaming history if a community could band together to save such a fantastic game from such a terrible ending. I'm touched by everything that's happened so far.
And it looks like we might do it
Holding the line, and proud to be doing so. Don't know any of you, but I love all of yah.

Just want to point out that if these "endings" are real then the Mass Relays would have killed everyone when they exploded. Like in the Arrival DLC. I'm not sure if anyone else had pointed that out yet, too many pages ME3 rage to look through.
My original thought was that those explosions were the crucibles way of spreading it's effect through the galaxy (I'm pretty sure the citadel's blast didn't encompass the entire galaxy and there were Reapers spread throughout it), and the destruction of the relays was more passive then that of the Arrival comet smashing method, possibly dissipating the energy realesed. When I saw the ending I didn't take it as "oh great the relays just killed everyone" but that would almost be prefferable to everyone being stranded in the Sol system forced to revert to their old ways in order to secure resources for their own people,

-Poor closure on the romance story (mine was with Liara). I actually was completely distracted from the ending dialog as I kept wondering, did Liara die (because she was on the mission with me) because it seemed that way. And then a cut scene with her Joker and Garius on some planet?
-Final confrontation with the Illusive Man was a bit of a let down.
-Renegade or Paragon choices, can't ever see Shepard letting the Reapers live.
-As it stands, and DLC that takes place after the ending (unless it wasn't the 'real' ending) doesn't work as there is no Normandy, no ME Relays, ect.
But was an enjoyable game other than that.
