Nope, just some cryptic tweets, saying nothing in the end

This, honestly, would be one of the coolest moments in gaming history if a community could band together to save such a fantastic game from such a terrible ending. I'm touched by everything that's happened so far.
And it looks like we might do it
Holding the line, and proud to be doing so. Don't know any of you, but I love all of yah.
Hold the line line friend, and I am feeling the same way.

No matter what the happens with the endings, we have managed to raise 24k for an amazing cause. HOLD THE LINE!
THAT needs to be our focus now! Whatever comes, whatever tomorrow brings, whatever any one says about anything, We've done the impossible and that makes us mighty!
Semper fidelis, hold the line!
We raised $24k in less than 24 hours. I'm pretty sure that is noteworthy. Entitled, whiney? I think that isn't a relevant description of gamers anymore.

But I also don't think the people who wanna buy a new ending dlc is really showing Bioware your dissatisfied by the way it turned out in the end. In a way thats condoning the ending that is in place right now.
I'm sorry how do you mean? I thing mabe lists with what we fel was wrong or somthing or have I totaly missed the point?

Just finished it, and... Have to agree the endings are disappointing. Now I'm not saying I wanted a happy ending, actually a tragic ending would be a good ending. The sacrifice theme was really building up for a good tragic ending with Shakespearian proportion. My problems:
-Poor closure on the romance story (mine was with Liara). I actually was completely distracted from the ending dialog as I kept wondering, did Liara die (because she was on the mission with me) because it seemed that way. And then a cut scene with her Joker and Garius on some planet?
-Final confrontation with the Illusive Man was a bit of a let down.
-Renegade or Paragon choices, can't ever see Shepard letting the Reapers live.
-As it stands, and DLC that takes place after the ending (unless it wasn't the 'real' ending) doesn't work as there is no Normandy, no ME Relays, ect.
But was an enjoyable game other than that.
If you notice you start before you attack the Cerberus base TIM is suppose to be at, with time and everything. You essentially lose all the time you spent doing the ending sequence and even that Romance scene. I think in theory you could revisit that romance scene anytime you want by triggering the attack on the base lol.

Perfect. I completely agree! This vid was tweeted to Mass Effect various times. I hope someone from the twitter team watched it...
And *slow motion clap* for the person that donated 10k. Seriously, that is amazing. It makes me so happy for those kids.

Agreed.. This sums my veiws up great. I was never expecting a super happy rainbow and bunnies ending. The sacrifice theme was prevelant and I expected heavy losses. Just not this....

If something makes you feel good and you gain enjoyment from it (as a feeling), that is all there is to it and that is your answer in principle. I enjoyed the ending, it felt good to me and I do not feel the need to over analyse it myself in sense of knowing every single thing is wrapped up or explained to me.
I liked everything about it (although the format of final choice has been done many times before). I loved from Anderson and Shepard sitting together to the scenery walking down towards your fate. The crew leaving the ship in lush green forest looking up at the sky (especially Ash which was my LI), smiling and looking happy to be alive (I like to think fondly remembering my Sheaprd and their love for each other). Seeing Joker and EDI together where they can be together, a bond present since ME2. The music at the end. Shepard giving everything he has to save everyone after being hit by the Reaper near the end.
The feeling that he gave it his all and saved the ones he loved, The final scene on the planet with nice scenery looking at the moon with grandfather and child talking about what once was and the story inspriing the child to reach for the stars and knowing life goes on plus more including imagining how they lived out the remainder of their lives, were they happy or sad, did they remember his decades on and will peace remain all sparks imagination. I felt all the choices had an imapct in the game during the game, the repercussions occur in time but I am gone and not present so naturally I do not or would not know how things turn out for everyone.
It made me smile at some points, slight sorrow at others. It was a good ending because it made me feel happy and sorrowful for many reasons. I loved it. So thanks Bioware. If people did not enjoy any of those things themselves then so be it but the endings were not bad (imho) they were very good.
