Hey guys!!! I always lurked on the forums, never even activated my account until now, but after seeing and experiencing the endings myself I'm proud to say that I'm here to support new endings Sorry that I didn't come sooner :/

Nah.

That's what the bioware tweets are trying to create out of thin air - this idea, here.  But nah.  Completely mishandled.  In a way - follow me down here, for a sec - there is more integrity to "geez, we were really happy with our endings and are kinda shocked at the negative reacion" then "ha HAH!  We've just been jerking you around for some cheap trick and are smugly waiting back to say i told you so, by eventually revealing what we meant to do all along!"

Just no.  If it's the latter, I'm outta here.

I am saying if your dissatified by the ending than buying dlc, any kind of dlc, is supporting the game the way it is now with ending and all.  The new ending dlc would have to be free since you arent essentially buying it so you arent giving your money to them.  So yeah the new ending would have to be free dlc and not something someone would pay for otherwise you support the game the way it was printed.

I wonder what the voice actors are thinking? Not regret, because they were part of the greatest game ever, but of the huge hole that is the ending.

I'll express here what could not without spoilers listed in the other section on my opinion on this element.

If something makes you feel good and you gain enjoyment from it (as a feeling), that is all there is to it and that is your answer in principle. I enjoyed the ending, it felt good to me and I do not feel the need to over analyse it myself in sense of knowing every single thing is wrapped up or explained to me.

I liked everything about it (although the format of final choice has been done many times before). I loved from Anderson and Shepard sitting together to the scenery walking down towards your fate. The crew leaving the ship in lush green forest looking up at the sky (especially Ash which was my LI), smiling and looking happy to be alive (I like to think fondly remembering my Sheaprd and their love for each other). Seeing Joker and EDI together where they can be together, a bond present since ME2. The music at the end. Shepard giving everything he has to save everyone after being hit by the Reaper near the end.

The feeling that he gave it his all and saved the ones he loved, The final scene on the planet with nice scenery looking at the moon with grandfather and child talking about what once was and the story inspriing the child to reach for the stars and knowing life goes on plus more including imagining how they lived out the remainder of their lives, were they happy or sad, did they remember his decades on and will peace remain all sparks imagination. I felt all the choices had an imapct in the game during the game, the repercussions occur in time but I am gone and not present so naturally I do not or would not know how things turn out for everyone.

It made me smile at some points, slight sorrow at others. It was a good ending because it made me feel happy and sorrowful for many reasons. I loved it. So thanks Bioware.If people did not enjoy any of those things themselves then so be it but the endings were not bad (imho) they were very good.

While I did not feel the same about the endings I for one appreciate your comment and am genuinely happy for you that the ending was satisfactory.

No matter what happens at this point people do not give up this fight. You should all be proud of yourselves and this accomplishment. Even if Bioware/EA refuse to change the ending, (and thus loose 20k or more customers forever) this is the point in time to show them and every other gaming company that crap like this (shelving out already made DLC on an incomplete game) can and will have repercussions if they take it too far.

As if the "From Ashes" day 1 DLC had not been enough, there is a vibe that Bioware will just release a paid "Endings DLC" now for extra cash...

Usual reminder (no one is doing it now, go you guys!): let's make sure to keep this civil, especially to those at Bioware. They're human being like us, so let's make sure to be cool. If we stay cool and civil the better chance of them taking us seriously.

Even if Bioware pulls something out and it turns out they did have it all planned. I still won't feel like an idiot. If anything I'll lose serious respect points for Bioware.

There was the whole drama over the From Ashes DLC and day 1 content. But if Bioware pulls something like that... Well, you know what else should be on the game disc? THE ENDING.

Even if they were/are going for an indoctrination thing. They could have let the ending play out as exists, then roll the credits. Then after the credits spring the whole TROLOLOL INDOCTRINATED thing on the player. Still achieves what they were going for without the BS of alienating and ignoring their fanbase.

Wow...just wow. On the edge of 25k in donations now. I will admit that the game had me tearing up a couple of times. I will be damned if I just didn't tear up again. Regardless of the how this ends, I am honored to be a part of this community.

I don't think we will, though. It's their fault for keeping it a secret for so long. They could have just said "just sit tight and wait because we have a surprise for you guys" officially, not by random tweets. We just have a normal reaction to the situation. I mean, we are even doing charity! 
The ones that will look the worst will be the journalists/critics who have gone against us and said that the ending had closure...if Bioware IS planning something, the ending obviously isn't supposed to bring us closure. Quite the contrary, it is incomplete, so...

I see it too now.  Hmm, as long as we're throwing around crazy conspiracy theories... the Hackett codex entry states he's one of the only enlisted men from a "low background" to ever make it up the chain of command that far, and they could be the same age.... maybe they ARE brothers!

In relation to the the image they used, was there ever a reply to the turian councilor's "Ah yes, 'Reapers'." line in ME3? I never saw one. I was expecting some kind of witty "I told you so" remark.
