Does anyone know how to contact a major news source and tell them about the charity? Like Forbes or MSNBC. Hell, I'd even take Fox lol.

I just sent a tweet to Seth Green... Thought he might find it kind of cool.

Actually, my dad has a friend in the editing room of NBC. I will make a call tomorrow.

The should have been able too take a good look at this abominable ending, and have realized that not just "some people" wouldn't like it. Almost everyone hates the ending.

Well, after an amazing week of playing this game (and enjoying the anticipation I had getting nearer to the end) I finally finished it today and all I can feel now is utter disappointment and I’m still so shocked that all my choices and all the care I put into my shepards just didn’t really matter in the end.

While I was playing I forgave the small things that I normally would overly criticize , no neutral dialogue tree, no female turians etc. The game was SO good I overlooked those things and still thought the experience was damn near perfect.

But these ending choices left me feeling absolutely gutted. This was a 10/10 game for me and I was expecting a grand finale of an ending that would match the epicness I had experienced so far.  I expected to make tactical decisions, like the suicide mission but on a larger scale. I expected more squad involvement in my final war decisions. I expected a final fight against a big bad. I HOPED to have an ending choice I had to work hard for in order for it to be a happy one

Instead I got 3 endings that were all equally short, depressing, confusing and unsatisfactory as eachother. What’s worse, the outcomes of your big decisions were never shown, what happened to your poor crew is never explained and there was just no damn closure for the characters and universe I’ve come to love so much. The disappointment is so bad I really am in no hurry for a replay, knowing that my shep is just going to die no matter what I do. It puts a depressing spin on all those meaningful interactions with your crew the second time around.

I just...*sigh* I need a hug or something (Literally just finished it an hour ago)

Hi guys, I've been lurking on the thread waiting for the 1 day gag to expire on this account.

I finished mass effect 3 a couple days ago, and up until the end it was probably my favorite example of storytelling in a game ever. Then I got to the last 20 minutes and I was confused and horrified at the way it played out. I thought that maybe the synthesis ending I'd chosen was the secret terrible ending, but sadly affter watching the other endings on youtube I had to accept the truth. I tried to start a second playthrough with my femshep, but I wasn't able to continue after Palaven. I've played the odd lol match in the past 3 days but haven't been able to play anything else since.

Last night I came across this thread and was relieved to find a large amount of people who's complaints echoed my own almost perfectly. I was also pleased to see these people mostly voiced their complaints in a civil tone and kept the amount of flaming to a minimum. Furthermore you guys have raised $25,790 for charity as of this moment, and while donating I was glad to know that we were able to channel our grievances into a cause that, even if ultimately unsuccessful, undeniably put some good into this world.

For what it's worth: Reporting in from Montreal, I'm ready to hold the line!

Hey guys!!! I always lurked on the forums, never even activated my account until now, but after seeing and experiencing the endings myself I'm proud to say that I'm here to support new endings :) Sorry that I didn't come sooner :/
Peh, the important part is that you came to hold the line with us, doesn't matter if it was some arbitrary period of 'being late', party's still going on. Welcome to the fight soldier. Keelah se'lai.
Thank you for the welcome :)  Keelah se'lai.

You are not late, the party is still going, and hopefully will go on for some time.

It's just that some of us were early. Image IPB

Sadly, I read about the endings prior to the game's release, but refused to believe it until I saw it firsthand so I could've been here a lot sooner, and I beat the game days ago...but I just kept waiting for Bioware to at least say something  Oh well, I'm glad I'm here now ^_^
I beat the game in 37 hours, without any sleep at all. Guess how warm and fuzzy I was feeling when I was faced by the endings? It's nearly 6 days now and I still have that void inside me. I can't even get myself to play any other game ( I won't even mention the ME games).

I hear someone had a motocycle accident because he was so stressed out after the endings, he went out, drunk to much and ended up crashing. Due to concussion that poor bastard forgot his last 24 hours, meaning he doesn't even remember playing the game. In a way he was lucky, both for not having serious injuries and for not remembering. I only wish I could forget.

If by some they meant 90%, they got it right on...

Yeah...I spent a lot of time crying and there were quite a few sleepless nights for me, but thanks to this forum and the #RetakeMassEffect movement, I feel a lot better  If we keep this up, we can get the endings changed. All we have to do is hold the line!!!

The link seems to have an extra space at the end which nerfs it.  Backspace over the trailing space in the URL and it works.  Just in case:  https://twitter.com/...763199783084033

I love the snooty whining replies he gets, and how often people toss around the word "entitlement" when they have no idea what it means.

Legit just watched the Simpson's Rosebud episode with Bobo the bear. Pretty sure BioWare took a page out of that book.

"HOMER
Well, we didn't get any money, but Mr. Burns got what he wanted. Marge, I'm confused. Is this a happy ending or a sad ending?

MARGE
It's an ending, that's enough."

But it's not enough!

Look like I'm in acceptance stage...

I just relize there more developer out there that care about their fan base, why I need to stick
myself in to Bioware? There are Bethesda and CD Projekt that make a very very good game
Bethesda support modding because they know fans want it, CD Projekt released all of their
promo DLC for free to apologize their fans for bug...

I still support this petition and hope it work but yes, I have enough of Bioware new direction.

The problem is that Bioware was the last company (or one of the last) to remain true to classic RPG computer games, namely Kotor, Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, ME1, Dragon Age Origins, etc.. Though I enjoy games like Fallout, Skyrim and such, they do not give me the same satisfaction. Don't get me wrong, I love how they work on open worlds, and that's a plus for me, but I find the RPG element lacking, as the conversations and quests do not advance the world, only the plot. Therefore the choices you make have no real effect save on that plot, or as in Fallout case, in the end when they go thru the narrative..

By the way, I just loved the Witcher 1 and had high hopes for the 2. However I found it weird that some of my choices from 1 didn't make to the second game, and I found it to be a little too short. Looking back, I was happy and didn't know about  it.

Despite everything I honestly doubt that we will accomplish anything related to Mass Effect 3. We must hold, so we can show Bioware and the other companies that the customer's are not to be played with or conned without serious repercussions. For instance, if Bioware does not come clean about it, and offers us a way out of this mess, I will never again buy a product from either Bioware of EA.

We have seen already that EA's share has taken a drop, as well as the price for ME3 in various stores. It seems this is the only kind of statement gaming companies seem to understand (and not Bioware/EA alone, there are others). If we can, due to this movement, force the companies to acknowledge us, not only us players, but as consumer's with rights, than we will have already accomplished much..

So, Let's hold the line people....

B: Make a prequal

C: Space magic in a relay blueprint that someone who still has a functioning manufacturing plant/ assembly ships finds
