The hidden ending is Shepard inhaling after you choose 'Destroy'.
And you won't. All synthetics die, the Citadel explodes, the relays are destroyed... and then Shepard wakes up in London because it was a FAKE ending. It isn't over yet.
Demand a real ending! Hold the Line.
So we can't get the ending we want after all?

Dont know if anyone saw this Gamespot article
http://www.gamespot....ending-6366066/
my response:
Subjectively, it is a piece of art.
Objectively, it a product that is flawed. All you have to do is read what bioware said about the ending before it came out. They describe it as being pretty much exactly in line with what people are demanding for now. They didnt deliver. If I asked Monet to commission a painting and it ended up looking like crap, Id demand he fix it.
I was just about to post this article, and even something similar to the point you made.
As an design student, most of our training teaches us that, yes, while we are still artists creating work, we are designers with clients. They tell us what they expect, we agree, and get working. If our work does not meet our client's expectations, we can't sit there and complain when they tell us to change things. We either fix it, and get paid in full, or back out, and lose half of that money. That said, the video game world works differently, but the way this article goes on about talking about art and what it is... just rubs me the wrong way.
Gotta be up in 4 hours. I should go. Hold the line!

Friend : Okay, so I've written a new ending for Mass Effect 3. One I think is better.
Me: nods
Friend: So here's how it goes. First, the Catalyst explains Shep's choices. Then, Shepard turns around and shoot the Catalyst in the face. Since the Catalyst is a hologram, it doens't accomplish much.
Friend: The Catalyst stares at him for a second before saying, "What did you hope would would accomplish?" To which Shep replies, "A gun's cold report is the only thing that reminds me I'm alive." Then the kid stares at him for a second more before saying, "Perhaps you sustained brain damage in that last battle. Let me consult medical logs."
While the Catlyst's back is turned, Shepard runs up to the beam, takes out his space hamster (which he carried for good luck) and throws it in, performing the synthesis between machine and hamster-life across the galaxy.
We all become one with boo? Squeek?

If someone makes a horrible sculpture I'm going to tell him that it looks like crap, why lie to him? to not hurt him? so he can live with an illusion of his abilities?
American Idol.... tons, tons of people who can't sing and they don't know it because someone told them that their voices are beatiful when they are not. When they go to the show, they end up embarrased, angry and terribly sad. Why? Because they were living a lie.
So, I'm not going to remain hidden and let this universe (which we all love) burn to ashes just because I have to protect the "Artistic vision" of someone who doesn't have one.

And honestly, I think I'm done with Kotaku. Instead of being happy that all this money is being raised, he just attacks us all..
Most other websites I have read have been on our side - but with good reason and they have actually addressed both sides of the coin. They have pointed out what Bioware promised and then failed to deliver.. Nope.. Not Kotaku.
I don't think anyone has full out demanded Bioware do anything. We've all made a stand and asked that Bioware deliver what they originally promised us.
But what's that line.. Never let the facts get in the way of a good story?

Off the subject, but in another thread I read that SWTOR is doing a free weekend starting Thursday... Is someone trying to take attention from this whole thing?
Oh well we don't let these kinds of things keep us from holding the line.
Many of us, SW:TOR players are cancelling our subscriptions because of the way Bioware is handling this ME3 thing. This is just a PR stunt to bring more players to the game, but it's doomed to fail, since long before ME3 release, SW:TOR was already suffering badly. Just another nail on Bioware's coffin...
SHM so that's what it's coming to huh?
Normally I don't wish failure on anyone, but it's very sad when you ignore the real issues by hiding behind a marketing stunt hoping people will think of you in a new light. I hope people don't take the bait and tell these guys in no way shape or form can they can't be lured to the van with free candy.
Dont they know the truth will set them free of all this?
