Weather or not we get the endings that the game deserves in the end, its the Kids that we raised the money that are the real winners. As long as we stay positive, respectful, and graceful over the course of the events that follow, win or lose we can hold our heads high as a Community that Shares the love for the ME universe.

Oh dear Lord. If Shepards story truly has ended, meaning there is no epilogue, I will not buy anything else from Bioware. Not trying to make an idle threat or be malicious. They've created the coolest universe ever but if this is all we get, it will break my heart but I will have to break up with Bioware.

They are already having other people bash us over it, because it makes them and their friends look bad. This is all they can do, without talking to the fanbase.

I'm dulling my grief by watching Babylon 5. Proof that sometimes the audience's faith is rewarded and the conclusion to a 5 year story can be fitting. Given all the similarities and references to B5 in Mass Effect, I thought they might draw on the ending for inspiration. For me the same goes for Battlestar Galactica, I personally thought the ending was sad but incredibly hopeful, the fact that they gave up technology of their own accord was particularly inspiring. It left me with a few questions, but ones that I was HAPPY to answer for myself. Mass Effect did not achieve it's goal. If I read a book, and it's good, I will put it down and smile at the satisfaction it brought me. If Mass Effect 3 was a book, I would have torn in it half.

I mean no offense, but... the donations are merely a nice gesture by some of the people involved. They don't make anyone better than anyone else and are immaterial to the situation. 

It's just a good channel to put a little bit of the frustration into, that's all.

Exactly! Couldn't agree more. It is about doing something good, not to be used as a bargaining tool. That is not what it is about. I felt great about being able to donate, and if Bioware never makes an ending DLC, it won't change that fact.

This is good.

It shows they're getting more desperate in their attacks against us.

Like it or not, we've already stated that regardless of the endings, the donations go to a good cause.

These articles are missing the whole point. Bioware made this game "OUR" story. Hundereds of hours were poured into these games to get the decisions we wanted and for the our time and money we are given an ending where none of our decisions really made a difference.

Bioware renigged. Plain and simple. It was "OUR" story, now its theirs.

Casey Hudson shot off his own damn foot, with a bloody shotgun. These endings are unforgettable only in how truly horrifying they actually are. This is a bigger failure than the Star Wars prequels. People will look back at this and say "This is what you Don't do to your game"

If he thinks anyone will bloody buy another product of his when his ending officially states the general notion that. "Not a single thing done before this moment matters" he's either living in La La land or he's got some serious denial issues.

I don't think the person who wrote that article even read Casey's quotes... We saw all this earlier and it proves nothing.

What does it say if you have to go back two years, to justify your current stituation?

This ^, the charity is not a weapon.  it is a gesture of good faith and our seriousness of the commitment.  In the end, win or loose the money still goes to the kids.

Uhm... is it just me or does this pretty much mean we're doomed?

It's one guy on the ME team saying something. That still leaves, well, everyone else. I'm sure some of them didn't think it was a good ending while they were making it and everyone else on the team we can follow hasn't weighed in one way or another. Plus there are all these newsites supporting our side, they can't ignore newsites tarnishing their brand...

There's still hope.

pfft what? Luke is actively trying to troll us. I don't even think hes being paid off I just think he has a stick in his craw about our movement.
