I cannot keep up with this thread, it goes by so quickly. Need more time in the day. I just want to add my support for the cause. The ending left me gutted for the same reasons as why everybody else is here. Now I know I am not alone.
I am impressed with what everybody here has achieved so far, and thankful that their is such dedication and love for the series amongst the fans.

I need an ending that i'm been working for, for the last five years.

Every choice you make in ME1, ME2 and ME3 will affect the ending of Mass Effect 3 the say. Haven't seen it yet even if they claim they have 16 endings. 16 different endings bull**** it's the same damn ending over and over again with a little twist. To get the 16 different endings you are forced to play MP to collect a lot of points.

It's one guy on the ME team saying something. That still leaves, well, everyone else. I'm sure some of them didn't think it was a good ending while they were making it and everyone else on the team we can follow hasn't weighed in one way or another. Plus there are all these newsites supporting our side, they can't ignore newsites tarnishing their brand...

There's still hope.

Well Hudson is the lead of the Mass Effect team and in that he seems to represent the team as a whole as far as PR goes. I have a hard time believe that other dev's would speak out if they valued their jobs at Bioware.

What does it say if you have to go back two years, to justify your current stituation?

He's right, though. Pissing off 90% of the fanbase, and probably some to the point that they'll never buy games from BioWare ever again, could be conscrued as "not wanting to make the game forgettable".

This ^, the charity is not a weapon.  it is a gesture of good faith and our seriousness of the commitment.  In the end, win or loose the money still goes to the kids.

not particularly... he criticizes the charity drive in his other post... however, he is certainly entitled to his opinion, and we can remain civil regardless of attacks by Kotaku... which i am seriously considering abandoning after the incredible bias from many of their writers. They don't have to agree with us, but at least respect us enough to aknowledge we are doing something positive with our feelings.
