So let's do something, not only talk about fighting! Let's fight:
Can sobody please write some words about our "fight". Why we are so angry about the endings and that we are not only stupid little children. But NOT TO LONG please. In english. With all the important links (!!!).
And than we translate this words into our languages and we post it in every damend Forum we know. We send it to every friend via mail and so on!
What you think?

What if Bioware/EA tries to turn this whole thing around in order to take credit for the charity by saying they're so proud they've inspired their fans to do something productive after getting 'motivated' by their 'epic finale'? Jesus Christ if they do that I may well literally vomit...

"Mass Effect: One ending, kill saren, many variable choices throughout the game.
Mass Effect 2: Two endings, destroy/save collector base, many variable choices throughout the game.
Mass Effect 3: Three endings destroy/control/synergise, three significant variations on each based on your choices, many other variable choices throughout the game.
So your point about multiple endings is what, exactly? You may not have got teh choices you would have preferred, but saying you didn't get choices is simply wrong.
People like are just brats who don't like what you were given because you wanted what was in your head, which is something Bioware was never going to deliver.
The theme of the Mass Effect series was biological vs artificial life and the idea that biological life was insignificant, beating the odds wasn't a 'huge theme' it was 'something that happened in the cource of exploring the themes'.
I never said you had no right to voice your opinion, I merely said I disagreed strongly with it and feel it is born more of misunderstanding, misconception and an inability to identify quality because something doesn't match your expectations.
I've no issue with happy endings, what I have an issue with is people labelling the three extremely well conceived endings as bad simply because they aren't 'good'. I would love for Bioware to patch or release DLC with more alternate endings. But this won't stop me enjoying the endings we have and mulling the implications, consequences and moral issues.
I mean for gods sake your character is given the option of unilaterally forcing every advanced lifeform in the galaxy to become cyborgs, ending all biological life as we know it in the galaxy. Think about the moral and ethical consequences of that (and those of the other endings) and what it could mean for the species and then tell me you didn't meaningful choices and consequences.
None of your work in the three games was invalidated, it all led to this. The journey is as important as the end."
Could be that its 5 am and my brain is tired but I don't know where to start >_<

I've decided to join the front. Got ME in 2009, got ME2 on release and of course ME3 as well. I've really gotten used to the characters and have always romanced Liara in the games, I was looking forward to seeing what happened at the end with our LIs, but in the end all we got is us separated from all the people we have grown to love through the years. That is the main reason why I didn't like the ending, by all means have one where your Shepard dies but BW should have made a flexible ending that matters. It seems that all the War Assets we gathered were not needed because the ending is the same in all cases, please I just want to have an ending where you can continues your relationship with your LI and an epilogue would be brilliant.
Amen. Welcome to the cause.

But either way, both have a chance to redeem the series.

I highly doubt that's a "minor BW employee". Just judging from the grammatical errors on it's own. "You play with Aria." It would be a little more detailed. Either you 1) Play AS Aria. Or you play With Aria as Commander Shepard. Cause it got me confused. But still, I highly doubt that's true. Albeit, we're already sure there will be -weapon and appearance packs- as well as an Omega DLC... But, that's not what we want. We want our darned closure and LI endings and happiness (Well, not all of us want the happiness endings, but I sure as heck do!)

I sternly disagree, if that was the case then what about the old saying of "in the eye of the beholder." then the artist is nothing more then the audience of his or her own creation. this isn't about what "we need" its about whats right, what was promised to us what we payed for. this so called ending is not what we deserve. now as for the hole Leak I don't care what anyone says thats not right either to punish all of us espeically people like me who went dark months ago for one person getting access to something they shouldn't have thats like punishing a groupe of people for 1 person sneaking a cookie out of a cookie jar. its just not right punish the one who took the cookie not the ones who didn't know.

If they do this, let them... it was our love/admiration for their product which united us in this cause. So in a way they inspired us to do this. The ending united us in ways I've never seen before on any forum. In a way their horrible ending is our "Shepard" who brought all kinds of different gamers from different places and different background together to stand as one. Together, we hold the line because of BioWare's actions.
So if they want to take credit, I'm okay with that.
Even if there won't be another ending for us, we turned our negative emotions into something positive.
