I believe the damage is done. I don't see a DLC turning it all upside down. I'm sorry.

Btw, is there any other RPG franchises out there? Other dan DA I mean.

Depends, do you Jrpg's? if so tales of graces f just released tuesday in the U.S for "Ps3"

I still think Bioware is gonna come out of the box and hit us with something HUGE, and we'll all feel stupid. I would prefer to feel stupid rather than what I feel now... soul sucking depression.

Why are we the stupid ones? If that was planned from the beginning it wasn't really effective in anything, besides making their customers angry.

I feel dumb if all this handwringing was for nothing because this was some clever ploy to get us to react. It is Bioware. They have made us feel a great deal of emotion over the course of all 3 games. Them going over the top
by giving us an open ending making us feel true outrage so we can appreciate a victory even more? I can beleive it.

I have doubts, but I can beleive it.

But to take it this far is just plain stupid. They are literrally risking alienating BIOWARE FANS, not just ME Fans. Lets see how long EA keeps a studio that isn't producing money. <_<

They are probly waiting till the Japan release. People need to have time to finish the game and make thier own assessments. Just be patient. We can wait another week-ish. We have some bioware employees hinting at something. Lets just hold the line and see how this plays out.

Though I would appreciate a little news now... :pinched:

But there is a legion of first time players out there who liked 100 % of the game, not just 98 % like us. Theyare making a big deal of money right now. And that legion will buy again...

“I didn’t want the game to be forgettable" Im trying to forget the ending ... so this part is true.

Casey Hudson's interview was really sad. Denying a failure such as this one can only mean they don't want to admit being at fault, either for artistic reasons (being "proud" of their work to the bitter end, even if they realized they screwed up badly) or for business reasons (which sounds more likely)... whichever it is it's quite pitiful.

I hope the people here will all stand true to their statements... and not go buy the next game or the DLC straightaway... I wish for Bioware to really regret going for the "we did everything well and we are proud of it" option (which of course comes in 16 different shades of colour).

Personally I won't be buying any more DLC for ME3 unless they have an ending one (and it had better be a free one). Not out of protest really. But what's the point in, say, taking back Omega when everyone there is going to die from the relays blowing up?

Maybe, but there is such a thing as going too far. To me (if the game actually continues with a DLC) it won't repair the damage done. While I will probably like it, the love is gone. And that is a very very bad way of treating your fans.

Speaking of DLC, unless it's to offer us a better ending, I actually feel very little desire to play any. It was bad enough that once the credits and bit after was done to suddenly see my Shepard on the Normandy again, like nothing had happened. How could I possibly play any DLC knowing how the galaxy ends?

Considering how we've organized almost $30k in donations in a few days?

Yeah, just a bit.

How can they take back Omega, when the mass-relays are destroyed?
There is no reason to take Omega back (or rather imposible). Omega is just junk in space - nothing more.

I dunno, think it's one of those comments that aren't really needs to be said. Maybe I just read into it wrong.

@jedimomwi Chris referred to the structure of forums not being organized, not people :) It's hard to search for instance. And yes I'm proud!
