Hey, I haven't actually seen anyone post this, but it completely adds to the argument about the entire Galactic fleet being stuck in Sol.

After ME3's ending, I was desperate for a good story involving Shepard so I tried to start ME1 (only got of Eden Prime before I got sad again). Anyway, Nihlus says to Shepard I think almost word for word "without the mass relays, interstellar travel would be impossible."

So the theory that the entire unified galactic fleet being stuck in the Sol System is definitely true, even according to Bioware's own lore. So congratulations on beating the Reapers. Oh wait.. instead of relatively quick deaths, everyone on Earth and the entire Galactic fleet is going to starve and eat themselves in another war to survive. Marooned Normandy ending looks pretty good now.

Everyone in the galactic fleet isn't going to just turn and be on their merry way for the countless years it's going to take to get home. They will try and reorganize without the Relays while near Earth. That would then lead to arguments. With the tentative and uneasy truce between several major parties (Krogan and Turian, Geth and Quarian, Rachni and everyone) it's going to break down. A new galactic war is most likely on the horizon.

Just experienced the "best" destroy ending on first playthrough with 4,321 EMS and 74% Readiness Rating.

Don't get me wrong, all of the endings are terrible. But I felt my ending, combined with the awesome conversations I had with my squad-mates on earth before the rush to the beam, left the best aftertaste.

It still wasn't a good aftertaste, but I think it was better then with the other endings for sure. Shepard lives! But everything else is still screwed I guess...

Just got to make the best of what we got. Until "The Truth" that is.

Real quick I still don't get how dei dies, she's an ai not a synthetic. Her new body may be destroyed but her mind or 90% of her is in the ship. Only that body has reaper tech.

One of the things I feel the worst about (relatively speaking, it is a game after all, though one very dear to me) is that we never got to live and spill some drinks on the Citadel with Jacob and Garrus.

There always seemed to be the possibility of succeeding with everything, or failing utterly with several options in-between. But nothing ever hinted at "You lose. Pick a color."

the amount of misery this man went through in this game!!!
In Babylon 5 The Eldest One Lorien brought Sheridan back for 20 years and they took him after beyond Galactic Rim.
Why Cant we have something satisfying along these lines...!!!!

Still can´t believe what they did to this great series.

It makes me so sad.

I want a better ending. I want an ending where my char can live with his love and makes some real rescue to the universe.

Why did I save both Geth and Quarians, ended wars, helped where I could in all 3 parts, when the end is the same: all gone... ?

Can´t agree more. The only realy uplifting about this hole Ending is, that they realy let the Backdoor open for the hole "it was just a dream" issue. I just started my second playthrough and i you really look for hints, you will find them. (first talk with vega on the citadell: "this whole place is just an illusion" and so on) Lets hope Bioware uses it.

By synthetic they mean anything created to simulate life. That would include the geth and edi (ai) and also it would likely include vi as well.

The problem here is that if we take the endings in conjunction with Mass Effect canon, then no matter what happens, when the Mass Relays blow up, every start system that has one gets blown up as well. What is the mystery in numerous systems getting wiped out in a eezo explosion?

Problem I find with the whole "It was just a dream" theory is that it's trite and smacks of a complete lack of imagination on the part of those who have previously shown a considerable amount.

I just paid full price for the damn game, if you're telling me even after that I don't have all the facts then WHY don't I have all the facts? The full game should be included with the disc. Period.

I am back ladies and gents, as I can see from the lack of either tears or joy there has been no official word from BW... Sad bit is, I've pretty much come out of my depression, mostly from donating, but also from this awesome support group we have all formed. I think I can look at ME or ME2 without tearing up now! So, as a straight man, I LOVE YOU ALL! brohug!
