You just know that they'll all say stuff like "but we knew all along!" or some other bull****.

New True Ending All Alongdata:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIABAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAEALAAAAAABAAEAQAICTAEAOw%3D%3DEdit
A few hours ago an anonymous user who leaked the multiplayer DLC (just an hour earlier) has claimed that the ending fiasco was deliberate because of the game’s storyline being leaked. They changed it so they could have more time to prepare the real ending DLC.
It is called “The Truth”, and will be released in April or May… You will be able to continue your story if you picked any of the endings. Your decision during the sequence will have a big effect on the ending of The Truth. Also, The Truth adds two new sets of enemies, new classes, and multiplayer maps, including “Firebase Hive”, which is a small area of the last remaining Collector Ship included in the DLC, which, by the way, you should definitely bring Javik the Prothean along if you have them.
The following picture shows some of the leaked multiplayer classes and races. One race that isn’t shown is the Prothean Adept and Vanguard. This DLC also, enables the ability for owners of the preorder and From Ashes DLC to find their DLC weapons in reinforcement packs.
If this turns out to be "The Truth" I am holding myself to my word and NEVER AGAIN buying a Bioware/EA Game for as long as a Live.. This is major BS, an utter lack of respect for the player community and it proves only that we agree to be deceived and that mediocrity and failure (as in the original ME3) is to be forgotten and even rewarded as more and more players accept this outcome...
I know I am just one voice, but I hope mine will be joined by many. It is this the game industry learned they just cannot do as they please, and that we are not sheep to be silently slaughter...

Well, at first, I apologize in adavance for my bad English, i hope I can bring my thoughts into a readable form.
Actually ME 3 is a really phantastic game, (almost) everything is done well, ineteresting quests, great characters, excellent graphics and sound, good gameplay and a well-done enemy AI, a world rich of details and on top of that just a few minor bugs and glitches - truly a masterpiece!
And then you get to the ending of the game...
Dear god...
...
Long story short: While the credits were rolling, I could feel the slow, agonizing death of my inner child.
Completely void of logic, abysmally bad writing, oviously copied from Deus Ex, in actualitiy ignoring EACH & EVERY of my decisions I made during the complete saga, BioWare manages not only downgrading but completely ruining a 100 hour space epos within a 5 minute cutscene.
Aboriginal I intended, after my first paragon-playtrough, to play this game again as a renegade and enjoy different romances, but after this ending (I am deliberatley using the singular here) I am not even able to start the game anymore.
100 hours of playtime, just to pick a different colour for the explosions in the last cutscene? No, thanks!
For casual gamers who are more interested in general gameplay/multiplayer and don't care too much about the storyline, or for players new to the series, who have never played ME 1 & 2, this might be an acceptable game. But for me, this is easily the biggest disappointment I experienced within my 22 years as an active gamer.
(And that's from a guy who owns the full version of Black&White and the full
version of Daikatana :-/ )
I am impressed. It has been a long time since I played Daikatana and Black&White, but those games have a special place in my heart..
All I can say, is welcome to the fight brother. Your pain is our pain. I´ve finished the game nearly a week ago and I still can't get myself to play it (or ME1 and 2) or even play any other game. I tried going back to L.A. Noire (solving crimes sounded as a good escaping mechanism) but there was no thrill, only the emptyness left by Mass Effect 3's ending.
If I had simply played 100 hours I would be feeling a lot better than I actually am, but imagine for a moment if you had played every póssibility, every choice, every romance, and had planned to use all those game saves on Mass Effect 3 only to see how every little thing you did in the past 5 years changed things? I have well over 1.000 hours invested in the game since ME1 was released, and to be faced with this ending is just too much to bear..
There are on this forum many theories about what "really" happened, but so far I am inclined to believe that "halllucination" theory. But not as it was posted in here. Don't get me wrong, the "hallucination/indoctrination" theory makes sense, but what I trully mean is that I have been hallucinating since I got to that beam of light (me, plaer, not my Sheppard), for what other explanation there is for Bioware/EA s.... us up so badly? Maybe I ´ve gone mad, or maybe I died and this is my own hell, but in no way this is what Bioware promised to deliver us..

In that months old story leak that was thousands of lines long, and turned out to be 98% accurate, there was a section that had all the classes in multiplayer and one of them was 'MPGeth'.
So we can get our hopes up for that, at least.

Not very originell, indeed and it wont appeal to me why bioware did this. Maybe they did it to sell another dlc with the real endings, or they wanted to be really originell and not mainstream by ending this in a fashion they did, and just left some room to fix it if it really did not work. And nobody of us would be here if it has worked.
If they did this to sell DLC with the "real endings", then why didn't they put those endings from the beginning? Why sell an incomplete game, especially if there isn't any hint that it is incomplete? Alternatively, if they're just selling the game to see the reaction to the ending, does that mean we've all paid to be part of a very public beta test?

I agree. Games should never be released unfinished for any reason, especially games that are supposed to be the concluding part of a trilogy.
If this is true I'll get the DLC. I've already been fooled into buying the game. But I'm going to be extremely cautious with any future Bioware/EA titles in the future. And if they start a new franchise like Mass Effect you can be damn sure I'm going to wait until the series is finished before I even think about starting it. I don't particularly want to get burned like this again.

Most certainly some kind of prank...
EA, a company that worked hard on its bad reputation and proved it once more by putting a day 1 DLC on the ME3 disc, will give away content for free? The mere thought, ah well...
Because even EA has to be scared at the prospect of most Mass Effect fans refusing to buy or support their games again.

Honestly, I do not know what is worse. To receive such a terrible ending as it currently is in Mass Effect 3, of to have them play us for fools and clowns saying it is ok to deliver an incomplete product only because they didn't have the time to finish it. And no, there is no olive branch at this point. They crossed the line, and if we don't make a stand here and now, every other company in the gaming industry will believe that it's ok to fool the customers and its ok to deliver poorly finished and incomplete games, as long as they complete it later(how later on only God knows)
Why didn't they release the Multi player aspect as a DLC? Or the Kinetic? No, it had to be the ending....

dunno if this has been posted before. but has anyone noticed that the layout of the choice point in the ending. its exactly like the dialogue wheel.
when you talk to the catalyst your in a circle. then once you get to make the color choice you get 3 branching paths in the same shape of the dialogue wheel...
maybe i'm just grasping at straws, but they really tried to symbolise the whole "choice" thing here. even though its not much of one.
Here's another straw I noticed to that; The control ending is Blue (Paragon?) with TIM and the Destroy ending is Red (Renegade) with Anderson. It almost seems like BW was trying to point you to choosing the control for a Paragon ending or Renegade for Destroy and that makes the ending make even *less* sense.
Of course this could just be my mind grasping at straws so there is that...

I can just guess at that point, but as it was mentioned before, EA had to work hard for the renegad Status they have today.

And i still think that ME don´t needs a Multiplayer part! They should have used their rsources for more and better Sidequests/Endings!

According to some theories, that's just the indocrination talking. They want you to think it's ok to control (blue for paragon) and it's evil to destroy (red for renegade) when in fact it's the other way around..
or so some say...

It does fit in the way that TIM and the control option is according to the godchild (still can't believe that I'd ever use that term in ME) a way that has less of a chance to create a problem in the future. Destroy ending he outright says that it won't take long before humanity will create AI that kills them anyway.
