Here's another straw I noticed to that; The control ending is Blue (Paragon?) with TIM and the Destroy ending is Red (Renegade) with Anderson. It almost seems like BW was trying to point you to choosing the control for a Paragon ending or Renegade for Destroy and that makes the ending make even *less* sense.

Of course this could just be my mind grasping at straws so there is that...

Just supports the indoctrination theory imo because it was a renegade choice to save Anderson also which obviously is not consistent with the writing up to that point. The more I think about it the more I feel that a DLC is on the way

EA, a company that worked hard on its bad reputation and proved it once more by putting a day 1 DLC on the ME3 disc, will give away content for free? The mere thought, ah well...

Honestly, I do not know what is worse. To receive such a terrible ending as it currently is  in Mass Effect 3, of to have them play us for fools and clowns saying it is ok to deliver an incomplete product only because they didn't have the time to finish it...

Why didn't they release the Multi player aspect as a DLC? Or the Kinetic? No, it had to be the ending....

And i still think that ME don´t needs a Multiplayer part! They should have used their rsources for more and better Sidequests/Endings!

I am not a fan of multiplayer, but I think that is a completely different debate.

And still, even if it is true, it's unforgivable. Especially if we have to wait that long.

Yes its a rumor but from the same guy that brought us the rumor of mulitplayer dlc; and we know how true that became.

1000 hours? Man, i spent approximately 200 hours on ME 1 & 2, which is already bad enough considered the ending you are offered in ME 3, but if you took the effort to generate so many characters for all those various walkthroughs and then you are only given the option to choose the kind of light you want for your cutscene-explosions, thats just plain sad.

No, it is not alright. Did you get the product you paid for at release? Did they fufill their side of the contract (sales) by delivering what they promised (and I am not even mentioning quality here)?

This will open a bad precendent in the gaming industry by basically saying that it's ok to deliver poorly finished products. We do not need this. WE get enough BS as it is...

I have 8 save games for ME1 and another 31 for ME2...

If the main part of this is true it's still going to suck somewhat, because you'll still get routed through the current ending to get there. Shepard dissolving? Mass relays all blown up? Citadel destroyed? It'll be a real peachy story from there ...

For that there is an easy explanation: Business plan.

It was stated numerous times that they had to impleent these things first because EA demanded it.

Still, if this is true then it's unique thing in gaming history... for the worse.

My view on the rumoured 'Truth' DLC is this:

If it is true, and they give it to us for free, then my faith has been restored. It was all a marketing move to create controversy to hype the game up more. I will not be entirely happy about that method, but I will admire the ba--courage it took to do it that way, to try something new.

If it is true, and they make us pay for it, then I will never buy an EA title or Bioware title again, after I get the DLC.

If this is a lie, then I will to continue to

That's the worst thing Bioware can do, release a DLC called "the truth" with new endings. So the current endings are lies then? Not a good thing to admit, nevermind profit from in the form of DLC. No chance they'd do it free of charge, and I'd never pay for the privilege of seeing the real endings. Now you can't even complete the story without buying DLC? Don't give them ideas.
There may be a Truth DLC being planned but I doubt it changes the end.

If that whole "The Truth" DLC ends up being real...I'll be so happy. So very happy. Especially if it's free. If not, I'll still be happy, just mumbling as I pay for it lol.

If the rumors about 'dlc - truth' are real, I will get it, for the sole purpose of being able to play the entire mass effect series again. Beyond that... I'll be taking a wait and see approach from then on to see how things are handled.

I think that the spoony experiement is not a goodd place to mount a viable defense. As cool a guys as Spoony himself is, in my experience of watching the videos and comments underneath, these ranting reviews, despite their accuracy and comedy attract the sort of people who love to hate on things.
Also, if you've seen his reviews of the Highlander series, Spoony is no stranger to massive disappointment and inconsistencies in a series ending.

Just leave the haters where they are, stay civil, stay strong!
