Kind of sad that TotalBiscuit (the guy with over half a million views on his "Why ME3 Day 1 DLC sucks" video) boycotted the game over that issue, because he's thumbing his nose at the rest of us for being stupid for buying the game in the first place instead of joining us calling the ending out.
The other sad thing is, I'm not sure adding an ending DLC is even possible. The reason for the Day 1 DLC controversy was a) that it was charged extra, andthat it was partially already on the disc. The way the game is constructed, if there was another ending to be gained, there would already be files on the disc to support it. There aren't, lots of people have already checked.
i think the common thread of the day 1 dlc and the other they mentioned in their press release was the fact that a character was included and has speakable dialogue and set spots on the ship and levels....
He did atleast acknowledge that he was aware of it in the last TGS Podcast. But it looks like he wouldnt even touch it with a 10 feet stick.

It seems like Bioware is utterly determined to ignore us, even with things like the charity we're donating to. They must be hoping that if they stay in total denial long enough, the problem will just go away. It won't go away, we'll make sure it doesn't. Those endings are unnacceptable.
BW won't ignore it. I'm sure they are very aware of it. However, I doubt they will say anything until everyone has had a chance to play. The final release is Japan on the 15th.

Also you got to remember ME3 was leaked; so as others and I've also said; they changed the ending and held back the real endings because of the leaks. If this happened; I'm actually very cool with it. They've created amazing game until the ending. Ending did feel very rushed - a reaction to it being leaked.
So why didn't they hold off on releasing the game? I'm sure a delay in releasing the game so it would be complete would have been better (and generated less publicity/rage) than releasing an incomplete game with the attendant fury and reputational damage that it has caused?
Because the game had already been delayed for a year already. EA makes the end decisions right or wrong. With TOR doing so well; they still need money coming in as 200 million dollar chunk for TOR is a big chuck. ME3 should of diamond in crown EA's building.
Things got leaked; EA most likey said; look we've delayed a year already - we need to get something out. I'm not saying the decision was right or wrong.
As I've said the game is amazing until last 10 minutes; more you piece things together; more the indoctrine theory fits and we're left with a cliffhanger. Only wait to solve it - is more game play

If the the truth DLC turns out to be real, it could be the biggist mind F*** in vidoe game history.
Just like Jedi mind-trick. But we won't forget how they treated us.
Not important. Important is, that they actually bring it. If they don't, theyr'e screwed.

My statement to that:
Damn you Bioware. I was a loyal Bioware-Fan and customer since Baldurs Gate but with this possible worst, depressing and cheap ending it is completly over. With this ending(s) you borught a lot of true fans emptiness and depression. The worst part is, that you are even proud of this and glad that the fans reacted so emotional. You lost me as an customer and I hope you will feel soon the consequences where it hurts you the most.... in your wallet.

The Only Polarising Theme in all these articles seems to be the Child's Play Donation...
I just want to stress yet again that this is utilizing the disappointment of the Fanbase to help a Charity Organization. Being told again and again that this is just a ploy to force BioWare to add to the ending is beyond sad in my Opinion.
They make it sound as if we are withholding the money until we get what we want

60% of gamers half-indoctrinated - "we want new endings"
35% of gamers found the truth - more SP DLC

Then again, controversial these days means highly discussed in the media, which means more attention and more potential buyers. *Looks towards the Modern Warfare series and Battlefield 3*

They wanted a memorable ending, not one you forget. You know what, the ending of Knights of the Old Republic 1 is your typical ending. You know what else? Even after not playing it for five or six years I still remember the ending.

Well they will certainly recive alot of attention, but so far that attention has harmed them more than helped them.
