DLC, art doesnt slice up an end product and then sells it for extra profit later on at quite frankly insane prices

How about EA's share price dropping to its lowest level in a year - from some $50 to $17 in 7 days....
Are you sure about these numbers? I don't think they are correct.
There may be minor fluctuations in EA stocks, but they have most certainly absolutely nothing to do with dissapointment over ME3 or this thread.
I got the top figure slightly wrong, it was just over 25 for the period (50 odd in the last 52 weeks, which I'm guessing coincided with the MMO's release). If you look at the following chart you'll notice that the price climbed just prior to ME3's release, then took a dive two or three days later - the same point people were starting to finish the game. The price rose again just prior to the European release and, again, took another dive as people started to finish the game. The second dive was much more severe than the first, which I'd put down to the more casual gamers in the US starting to finish the game at the same time.
It is, from this, rather clear that EA stocks have taken a bashing as a result of player reaction to ME3.
http://investor.ea.com/stockquote.cfm
I am not trying to come off as a jerk so please don't take it that way.
But your information is false.
Before the release of mass effect on Feb 28th the stock price was around 16.3 which is lower than what it is now. This might be effecting the stock price but in a very small manner it simply isn't heralding a mass decline in stock at the moment.
I am not saying that it couldn't or won't just that you're changing the facts to suit this situation which they do not at this time.
Also the markets in general have been down as of late so there's likely little or no corelation between the two events.

In regards to the poll if you look at politics or complaints to TV stations (Here with the BBC at least) they always suggest that for every one person who voted in a poll, there a x-number of people who feel the same but didn't vote.
So going on that logic there are an awful lot more people who really didn't like it than did.
Yeah, but when the BBC or any institution with public responsibilities conducts a survey, they do it on a specific method; they choose the groups of people whom they'll interview with an eye to the best representation of the whole, and so forth.
Online polls don't have any of that.
Errm...who are you going to ask about the ending of a specific computer game if not the people who've played it?
Also note that you have to have internet access to get the game to work (at least on the PC), and from what I can recall you also needed internet access to activate the first two games as well.
So...why are the online polls suddenly unreliable? Every single one of them is saying the same thing - some 90% of the players are not happy with the end.
The problem is not that they're online. The problem is that among people who have played it (OBVIOUSLY), they have no determinate/reliable method to pick out samples that would represent the WHOLE.

I was thinking maybe there were alternate endings buried in the games. But it looks like thats not true. Oh well. I'm not going to bash Bioware for their ending, its their story and they should tell it however they want to. I'm a little disappointed. Since they've been saying in their PR releases to hang on to your ME3 saves, I'm guessing ME4 is already in the works. We'll see how that goes.
But there is no save after the ending...no?
Not that anyone has found, the last save the game makes itself seems to be right before the Cerberus Base

Its because they are right. The idea of trying to force them to change their game because you don't like the ending is ridiculous. The best thing to do is give them feedback on why you didn't like it so hopefully when they launch the next storyline for the Mass Effect universe, they make some improvements.
Again, there is no Mass Effect universe for a new storyline to be in, cause they destroyed the mass relays...

Well, when I read the comments on that article, I have a bad feeling about society. For example this one:

Well, if BW retweeted the 'you-have-no-right' article it's pretty clear. You can yell and scream all you want, nothing will change. So there.. I will buy the DLC's (yes I will) and I will enjoy them, but I will be very careful about investing time in BioWare games in the future. Because if they like to make great games that ends in a 2001- A space odyssey mode, then no thank you I'll pass.
