Reassured by the indoctrination theory I just determined I'd play ME3 as long as it takes me to unlock a new, real ending.
I'm sounding quite desperate, am I?
Nah, that's just the indoctrination speaking through you

If you feel it is insulting please explain it so, say otherwise I.E. saying they have insulted us or retweeted insults, can spark something we do not want to happen I.E. trolling, flamewars, and eventually thread closure.
Hold the Line!
I thought that was obvious. NOT saying anything is to me insulting as well. We discuss this in uncounted threads and comments and Bioware does not give a straight comment. What's this about?

Usual reminder: Let's make sure to keep this civil and keep the Bioware bashing to a minimum. Even with the articles coming out against the charity drive let's not get off course and turn this ugly. Stay cool and civil!

Im sorry but I have been monitering several twitter feeds at one time, and I may have missed the tweets, please link me to where they have insulted us or retweeted something insulting about us, please make sure it is from a bioware emplyee not from a moderator or someone else who chooses to donate their time to Bioware.

I really don't see them changing a thing....At the end of the day Mass effect is theirs. If they deem their ending acceptable then it will stay, we can't force them to change anything if they are unwilling. If they are so adamant on keeping this ending let them..they're just digging their own graves by alienating fans, and being dismissive jerks. I'm going to be honest and say I never once thought what we were doing here was going to change the ending, but it felt good. (the charity)
No, we can't force them to change the ending. We cannot demand a new ending. What we can do is give our honest feedback and plead with Bioware. The choice of words by all of these media outlets is so ridiculous. "Large group of fans asking Bioware for alternative ending" would be an unbiased and honest title for an article. "Vocal fans DEMAND new ending from Bioware" is just asking for flames. If I have a history of donating to charities, and a charity sends me a letter asking for donations, are they DEMANDING I pay them? What ENTITLES them to plead with me?
The company has in the past been so proud about its fan reputation, to the point of telling us we helped co-create the game. And yet the second the title is released, it ceases to be "giving feedback" and becomes "forcing". When fan reaction for ME2 asked for a Tali/Garrus romance, Bioware listened to those who supported them for years and added it in. I don't recall massive gaming sites writing articles along the lines of "Idiotic Entitled Fans Force Bioware to Submit to Their Demand and Add New Romances: Why This Will Destroy Art Forever" As others have said, the comparison to a work of art is ludicrous. From the very onset, before ME1's release, we were told it was our story. That sentiment was only repeated towards the release of ME3. You can't tell millions that it's their story and then suddenly be taken aback when they react to the fact that they've had control taken away. As it's been said, Mass Effect was written by a shuffling group of old/new writers. Mass Effect is a video game, and it's always had DLC. So, you can pay money to have new additions to the story, but when that addition happens to be at the end, it's an infringement on creativity.
Finally, I'd to respond to the vague allegations that Bioware answer its fans here will somehow "lead us down a dark path" as so many sites are claiming. Ignoring what your fanbase wants and doing what you think is best gets us stories like The Phantom Menace. Releasing when you've pissed your fanbase off and having the humility to change your story gets us Sherlock Holmes.
