Its hard for me to be angry with Bioware over this because they had A LOT of courage to add male/male relationship options and do it in a tasteful way. I thought thThat was very cool of them to add that in and honestly, aside from Dragon Age 2, I don't think any other video game has gone there and did it respectfully. Very cool indeed.

So although they may have let me down on the ending, they get major kudos for being so brave in a very gay-unfriendly genre.

True. I also found it amirable that they were willing to tackle homosexuality. Honestly, I'm surprised they were able to take a stand on that.

Someone get Jon Stewart or Mr. Colbert on this. The ending... I mean.

I did had one issue with their same sex relationships.  As someone who always picks the nice guy option,  I was thrown off that my Shepard was talking to the guy in such a soft tone.

Then I found out Cortez was gay, and afterthat I wondered if my responses made me bi or overly co

Homosexuality is nothing new, it was in both Dragon Age games - in DA2 everyone was Bi-sexual....

We need a new term....Saw one being coined in the SWTOR forums. Hero-sexual

It's supposed to be the end of the trilogy, of shepard's story. It was supposed to fill in the blanks, tie everything off and let us know how well we did in saving the galaxy. Instead every choice reverted civilization to living on one planet with no space faring means and more questions than ever before

Sorry Bioware. I won't give a damn about your future single and multiplayer DLCs. Your greed doesn't have limits! If you will try to release single player DLC, you will make the biggest mistake of your company history...

This is the best ending I've seen anyone come up with for ME3. It gets my vote! Please make it happen, Bioware!

Can you copy it somehow? No FB here...

Sorry, but it's very long and detailed, including love interest endings and alternate paths. I guess I could PM it to you if you want. Not sure if it would work.

Down times are our test of character - and neither BW nor EA will find
me wanting! This isn't my first rodeo - nor is this my first dog and
pony show - I'm in this for the long haul! However long it takes to get
the ending we ask for is worth the challenge ahead of us all!

I was kinda suprised...my Shep Romanced noone in ME1 and Tali in ME2...then when i was having a chat with Kaidan on the Citadel he Confessed to my Shep without me ever giving him a proper Reason to do so...turning him down kinda made me feel like a Bad Guy...

I can't wait till the Asian countries are done with their playthrough of Mass Effect 3. Their reaction to the ending will probably make our reactions seem tame.

Yeah, me too! I just can't wait to see the reaction of the japenese, that's gonna be worst than the NGE's one!! XD

I hope so ..... Why are you so sure about their reaction?

I hope our asian friends will join our fleet! :)

PS: Please don't spam. This makes our fight somehow .... unserious.

.

I come from an Asian background. And I spoke to a few friends who asked me about the ending and they were not happy about the plot holes that were big enough for the Crucible to fall through. There is also a constant amongst almost all video games released in Asian countries, and they always have a happy ending.

So... all those people saying we're wrong to do the Child's Play thing? That we're using a charity for our own ends? Don't care. I mean, not at all. At the end of the day, the worst thing that happens is that we're called jerks... and tens of thousands of dollars go to children in need.

I call that a win, even if I get called names.

The altruism of charity is debatable anyway. Reason being a
little thing called “tax write-off.” So, in that sense, charity is always for a
personal end, even if you aren’t conscious of it. But charity allows money to
be given to those who need it, point enough. Frankly, I’ve read some of the
griping, it isn’t a very good spin-job.

Tax write off?  You do realize I'd save a lot more money by not giving to charity than giving to charity for a tx write off.  I give 100 I don't get a 100 back

Nah.  The only time anyone who's uncomfortable with this needs to worry is when you go to Purgatory with him for drinks.  There, you can indicate you find the Asari dance girls on the stage to be your 'eye candy', and that ends it.  You and Cortez are friends, he survives the shuttle crash, end of story ^^

True but they took it to the next level in ME3.  In DA2 you only had 1 male/male option.  ME3 you have 2 and one of them has his own backstory, Cortez explaining how his husband was killed on Horizon.  It was just done very professionally and not campy at all which is refreshing.  Because usually if a gay character is added its either as an after-thought or over the top campy for comic relief.  In this game both Kaiden and Cortez are done very well and Cortez's backstory is touching.
