I actually didn't mind the ME3 romances being THAT different from the ones from the first game. Thought it gave a little flavor of difference. I can see where people are coming from when they say they don't like them though.

They're more likely referring to Thane, Jack, Miranda & Jacobs. I havn't seen those romances yet so I dont know. But I have seen people complaining about them

Rumors of an ending DLC or not, the end still equals death and extinction for your allies and most of the galaxy. Hope dies so that life can continue.

um I romanced Laira for the first time in Me 3... ash me 1 Miranda me 2 it honestly docent matter you can sleep with anyone at anypoint it would seem.

Lol, I was referring more to the poor treatment of LIs from ME2 in ME3.  BioWare made then insignificant and basically nothing.  It sounds like you got a better scene wth Mirranda than the Jacob and Thane fans received from the things I've read.  Didn't Mirranda basically dump Shepard after that?

In line of the worst Romances... = Jacob, Thane, Jack then Miranda. Jacob being UNGODLY bad and Thane/Jack/Miranda getting better but then forgotten at the end.

Jacob cheating on femshep, Thane kicking the bucket.... not that we didn't know Thane would keel over, but Jacob was a blindside. Some of us actually liked him.

Well you can continue your ME2 LI in ME3. You dont have to win her/him over first. You'll get quite a few funny/loving conversations right from the start.

I have been watching the threads fairly religiously the past few days and the starting of the drive if I didn't miss something was Tuesday the 12th at aprox 10pm est. in the tread it was in the upper 700- low 800 pages.
