So we can't get the ending we want after all?

What about the 2 squad members that are whit you in the final run in London.I picked ash and liara, how the hell did Ash end up in the normandy? Or Liara depending on my final"choice". It's not just a bad ending, it doesn't make any sense.
That's the one plothole that gives me no rest. Wouldn't it be completely out of character for them to abandon Shepard at this moment? At first I though they were dead, so I dragged my shattered Shepard through the Citadel, thinking, "For you, Ash, and for our friends!" And then she steps out of the crashed Normandy, not even a hint of sad on her face. And I'm pretty sure it's the same thing with Liara and Kaidan. If Shepard was unconscious for long enough for the entire ground team to get evacuated, fine. Maybe the Reapers killed the beam to the Citadel after Shepard and Anderson got on board. But again, there is no evidence to support it. No Ashley getting dragged flailing and screaming into the evac shuttle/cargo bay, no sadness at the very end. Nothing. As if the characters in-game were realizing how pointless the ending was...
The happy look on the Kaidan's face bugged me. Kaidan should be grieving for him not smilling damn it. And by the way, even Cortez steps off the Normandy if he is the LI, probably Sam as well. It's always the LI. This puts so many thoughts in my head I wish they would just answer already.
my LI was miranda and she stepped put in just one of the scenes...![]()
That's not what I was trying to say. Sorry if it came across that way. To be honest, I couldn't get myself to import any Shep with a ME2 LI yet because there's a lot less contact with them than with the original three. I guess those with continued ME2 romances must be even more pissed than I am.

Kotaku can yell all they like, but it won't silence the tens of thousands of us who stand here holding fast against their completely baffling and illogical articles. Let them spew their gibberish in an attempt to strum up drama and increase site traffic, we'll be here holding strong and fighting for what we all believe is right.

I actually didn't mind the ME3 romances being THAT different from the ones from the first game. Thought it gave a little flavor of difference. I can see where people are coming from when they say they don't like them though.
Guys, ON TOPIC, please. It feels like this whole movement is slowly losing its edge. There will be nothing if we keep up everything.
That said, I had always imagined that the end would be that Shepard is the catalyst and could be able to sacrifice him for the good of the galaxy.
And if you romanced Tali you would see her without a helmet on her planet giving you the last honor for that you'll be together for the rest of time.
Edit: And then she says with sorrow "I'm sorry Shepard" *shed a tear*

Just a few things I wanted to touch on:
I saw the interview with Casey Hudson about the ending and how he wanted something polarizing and that would be remembered. I can understand that, but you definitely don't want to be remembered in a negative way. It's a sure way to drive people away in the future.
If the DLC thing is true, it would ease the pain, that's for sure. However, it would still make me very wary of anything I buy from them (or EA in general) in the future. Which is a shame, because I've been a hardcore fan since the first Baldur's Gate, I've owned ever Bioware game since then, and I even enjoyed DA2. True, it was a massive step back from DA:O, but I still felt I got my money's worth.
With so much history with ME, though, the ambiguous, inconclusive ending at the end of a trilogy will always be remembered as a stain, no matter how they patch it up. It would be like going to a movie, getting some weird stuff at the end and then being told "Sorry, if you want to see the real ending, you've got to come back in a couple of months and cough up a few bucks."
I can understand them not wanting the ending leaked. I just think they've handled the whole thing poorly.

With regards to the whole charitable donations don't give us a right to expect anything to be done is short sighted and offensive. If we were really that entitled all we'd be doing is b*tching about this, and if that's what they prefer then let me know. I have no plans this evening and so am good to go all night!
What's happening is the fans are experiencing real disappointment and rather channeling our energy into unstructured complaints and self important posturing, we're metaphorically turning the other cheek and doing something positive both to help feel better and show that there's more to this than just entitlement.
Hopefully people will realise this as we gain strength, but even if nothing comes of all this, are people going to withdraw their charitable contributions as it was all a bluff? I'm a cynic but I doubt people are such bastards as that.
Good going so far all, keep it up!

True but it seemed like the hate outweighed the like for him so it's sad but not surprising. I like Jacob too and considered him a good man and friend.

Miranda was my Shep's love interest, too, so if he miraculously survived the Citadel's destruction, he has a chance of being reunited with her. Slim as it may be, yay. They can have some time together before everyone starves and dies a slow, painful death. Sucks if your LI was on the Normandy, though. Everyone on board pretty much breaks character, abandons Shepard, and flees the battle.

Because the global release date is this week afaik. That means until recently the game wasn't even released everywhere, and I suppose that BioWare want to give everyone the chance to finish the game before directly and officially addressing the issue. That is assuming there is going to be any reaction other than what we've already seen.
What's important is that we keep the threads alive and people aware until BioWare does make a statement. Don't let it be forgotten. Hold the line.
