just to give some more hope:
the pressure of the fans did work to change the end of a very famous series, sherlock holmes.
so in my opinion if we keep it up they will eventually cave
also would like to mention i didnt not like the ending at all rest of the game was exellent
first time im in these forums (probably last), actually waited 24 hours to add a bit
to continue on this train, farscape and firefly fans also got some resolution (although firefly was a bit of bittersweet, still helped with cancelation of series by giving mild closure)

I still can't believe why Bioware won't say something like "Guys. We hear you. We understand you think something is wrong. We're going to fix it. Give us time." Or even "Guys. We hear you, but this is how it is. We're not changing anything."
I just want some certainty, you know?
Exact same feeling--I just want something, anything really, throw us a bone for god's sake.
Hold the line
Yeah, me too. That's what Casey Hudson said:
What are your thoughts on the reaction to the game’s endings?
I didn’t want the game to be forgettable, and even right down to the
sort of polarizing reaction that the ends have had with people–debating
what the endings mean and what’s going to happen next, and what
situation are the characters left in. That to me is part of what’s
exciting about this story. There has always been a little bit of mystery
there and a little bit of interpretation, and it’s a story that people
can talk about after the fact.
I dont think he got it lol we're not debating about what's happening next: I can see it by myself. That's not a matter of interpretation, it's a matter of NONSENSICAL ENDING. People are talking about it because they DONT GET IT and they're tryin to make an ending by their own. I want a canon ending: if I wanted something written by fans, I would have read a fanfiction. COME ON GUYS.
Still holdin the line.
If they wanted to leave it "open to interpretation," why bother making the game in the first place?
Maybe those apparently condescending twitter posts are just starting to get to me, but I'm having a hard time being hopeful and/or optimistic today. The longer this cryptic lack-of-response continues, the more I start fearing they're just going to go "well, it's our vision of art, you'll just have to deal with the fact that nothing you did made any difference in the end."

This is nicely done: POST ALL THE COLORS!
I did not count 16 therefore this is a terribly marketing ploy and the real ending is coming. Stop trolling bioware and give us what we want...please.
Love it! They may be different in "idea" (control, destory, merge), but they sure look similar in execution...

What quest? The comicbook-quest?
This is a glimpse of the comic which you can find in the CE-edition of ME3, right?
Yes, but they are talking about Omega and Aria. And there is a quest to unity the Mercenarys under the command of Aria in ME3. ..
Only me think that Aria is hot? lol

Strongly disagree. I've read some of the earliest examples of spec fic from the 20s on up. Also, Larry Niven is "hard science fiction." Space Magic is the exact opposite of Hard SciFi. So he gets the term completely wrong... sorry, TychoTSC_1 wrote...

*facepalm* the media is really shills anymore... I'm not trying to be mean but he must not have engaged his brain for the entirety of the series and just went "ooohh pretty... color wheel!"
how about YOU havent read enough gabe
Okay, again, it's Tycho, not Gabe. And he didn't say that at all.eeh sortaor if they aren’t in the habit of reading classic science fiction.
I read that more as "If you don't like this thing, you probably won't like that thing, either."

It's from a polish gaming site. Basically states that the game has divided the fans, gives quotes from Casey Hudson and mentions our take back the ending movement. The comments are mostly favorable toward us. Everyone's condemning the endings as complete nonsense and are not happy.

User 1: "I still want to believe you guys are sneaky trolls and have something going on you don't tell us yet. Can I get a cryptic reply?"
@masseffect: "The sun, it shines. www.youtube.com/watch"
User 2: "You are either a massive sadist or a beacon of hope."
@masseffect: "Can't it be both?"
User 3: "I kinda feel lost after that ending...not what I expected and left me feeling everything done was for nothing."
@masseffect: "We know it's a lot to take in! But hang in there. Your decisions matter."
User 4: "Are you holding something back, that could quell the large amount of frustration from the community, a tiny hint would be enough."
@masseffect: "Mike Gamble already said on his twitter, if the fans knew what was in store, the reaction would be different."
User 5: "I loved 98% of ME3..but something has to be up w/ ending..too much talent at BW for that business. Keep my saves?"
@masseffect: "We're keeping our saves, that's for sure."
User 6: "Fans are people too. Playing with their minds isn't that nice as it may look like to people from Bioware."
@masseffect: "We're not playing with anyone's minds, we are answering what questions we can and recording what feedback we receive."
User 7: "Its not that the ending was taken in the wrong direction its that it makes NO SENSE. Ashley was on the Normandy? she [was] with me."
@masseffect: "Probably a good thing to be cautious of."
User 8: "Do y'all have any ETA when more news will be released? Dying for news on a new ending/DLC."
@masseffect: "No ETA yet, but you will be updated via Facebook and Twitter when the news is available."
And if that wasn't enough..
User 1 -Well, i think i'll stop naggin you and trying to get you to talk about the indoctrination theory.
Good game though!
Merizan - I want people to make up their own minds right now, then when more people have played we'll talk
User 2 - then I want to SEE that he was lying. I want to get up and finish the fight with Commander Shepard. Then retire.
Merizan - augh. want. to. discuss! Staying spoiler free for now
User 3 - But should've confronted the kid instead. Shep went meekly into the night.
Merizan - are you sure he went meekly into the night?
One thing is to pull a PR stunt, another it to threat each and every one of us as if we were morons....
I will hold the line, but honestly, I am sick of Bioware/EA right now...
