Personally I'm willing to wait for as long as it takes. Months, years, whatever.
I'm convinced they have something planned now... due to all these cryptic tweets. They would just ignore them if they wern't even considering them.

I wouldn't have minded if it JUST HAD SOME CLOSURE. I thought the decisions themselves were alright it was just how did the Normandy suddenly end up in the middle of a relay jump? Why are they on this random planet looking no worse for wear?

Mass Effect has no ending, yet.
I think that's just the twitter person trying to be playful. They've been saying they aren't revealing spoilers, so saying that they aren't revealing if ME3 has something obvious (like that it ends) is meant to be a joke.
That was just my "glas half full" take on a message without any substance, but way to go to crush any hope at sight

Strongly disagree. I've read some of the earliest examples of spec fic from the 20s on up. Also, Larry Niven is "hard science fiction." Space Magic is the exact opposite of Hard SciFi. So he gets the term completely wrong... sorry, Tycho. But, like I said before: his points about the "sacrosanct nature" are spot-on.
See, that's the thing - he disagrees with us, but understands where we're coming from. He isn't rude or biased. He even calls the "artistic integrity" people out, because it's a terrible argument.
So, while I disagree with him about the quality of the ending, I think this is a positive write-up for us. It's certainly civil and honest.
It's cool. You read English better than I would read your language I'm sure, so you're still ahead :happy:KHReborn wrote...

Oi now, no animosity towards him from me! It's just one of the points he makes is that this is a "Hard SciFi" ending and it absolutely isn't. It's the opposite. Hard SciFi stays within the constraints of known science and physics - Larry Niven being an excellent example - and explores scientific themes and their implications, and logical extrapolation. And Space Magic (with Godbois!) is the complete opposite of Hard SF. S'all I'm sayin'.Hydralysk wrote...

This. The man hasn't committed a sin by liking the game and that text is in support of our right to criticize constructively, there's no reason we should hold animosity towards him.

According to this article from The Vine (which is actually good), it seems Bioware is trolling us. Just take a look as some questions asked:
User 1: "I still want to believe you guys are sneaky trolls and have something going on you don't tell us yet. Can I get a cryptic reply?"
@masseffect: "The sun, it shines. www.youtube.com/watch"
User 2: "You are either a massive sadist or a beacon of hope."
@masseffect: "Can't it be both?"
User 3: "I kinda feel lost after that ending...not what I expected and left me feeling everything done was for nothing."
@masseffect: "We know it's a lot to take in! But hang in there. Your decisions matter."
User 4: "Are you holding something back, that could quell the large amount of frustration from the community, a tiny hint would be enough."
@masseffect: "Mike Gamble already said on his twitter, if the fans knew what was in store, the reaction would be different."
User 5: "I loved 98% of ME3..but something has to be up w/ ending..too much talent at BW for that business. Keep my saves?"
@masseffect: "We're keeping our saves, that's for sure."
User 6: "Fans are people too. Playing with their minds isn't that nice as it may look like to people from Bioware."
@masseffect: "We're not playing with anyone's minds, we are answering what questions we can and recording what feedback we receive."
User 7: "Its not that the ending was taken in the wrong direction its that it makes NO SENSE. Ashley was on the Normandy? she [was] with me."
@masseffect: "Probably a good thing to be cautious of."
User 8: "Do y'all have any ETA when more news will be released? Dying for news on a new ending/DLC."
@masseffect: "No ETA yet, but you will be updated via Facebook and Twitter when the news is available."
And if that wasn't enough..User 1 -Well, i think i'll stop naggin you and trying to get you to talk about the indoctrination theory.
Good game though!
Merizan - I want people to make up their own minds right now, then when more people have played we'll talk
User 2 - then I want to SEE that he was lying. I want to get up and finish the fight with Commander Shepard. Then retire.
Merizan - augh. want. to. discuss! Staying spoiler free for now
User 3 - But should've confronted the kid instead. Shep went meekly into the night.
Merizan - are you sure he went meekly into the night?
One thing is to pull a PR stunt, another it to threat each and every one of us as if we were morons....
I will hold the line, but honestly, I am sick of Bioware/EA right now...
It is seeming more and more likely every hour that this is just one hell of a PR stunt and they are keeping an ending DLC hidden somewhere. Hopefully Bioware can recover from it because I think it has gone further than they planned.
Holding the line.
