well, i found something worse then the endings...something that foreshadows them:

your team (at least many of them) lost hope in the end!

kaidan tells me "goodbye" (he does not think we will survive!) as do some of the others...he just sticks out IMHO...the only one i remember being completly sure (at least he tells me so) that we will win is WREX IMHO...:(...no wounder we don't make it, if the team does not have the will to fight and something else struck me as "odd":

i did not see lots of turians, krogan, asari, elcore etc. with the groundforces (i only saw about 3 asari in a video, some krogan...etc...to me it looks like they decided to stay home...*shakes his head*...and something else (that is kind of personal for me...but maybe someone thinks the same?):

we did not see any krogan tanks in the final push...nor have i seen a Krogan Ship (we know - from the Krogan Rebellions - that they have ships, so why don't they use them? - and don't tell me the turians blew all of them up or that the Krogan didn't build more - they would need to, otherwise how would they get into council space in order to become mercenarys? (that seems to be what all male Krogans that are not on Tuchanka do for a living...)...but well, that is just me, i just wondered how a krogan ship might look like, same with batarian ships...i recruited the surviving members of that race, so a few ships should have been left....but well, as said, that is just me, it does not make or break the game :)

greetings LAX

Reporting in. Any news yet? or is it still silence? Hold the line!

Minor (apparent) change in the tone on twitter.

German Fleet requires additional support. UK Fleet still waiting for resupply of tea...Smithers just started screaming 'Man United for ever!' while head butting the drive core.

Both Fleets still managing to hold the line.

Food for thought. If there is really a DLC with the real end coming, I don´t think the joke is on us. I think the joke will be on all those people saying that the end was just fine, perfectly fine with the series etc.

The people who say "You can't ask a writer to change the ending of their book, or a director to change the ending of their movie" are really starting to ****** me off. Those are completely different mediums!

A writer or a director does not invite you in to play around with their characters, to choose which path the main character is going to take, what they're going to say, who they will fall in love with, kill or save - they never give you a choice or a say, so the ending is therefore completely in their hands, and we have but to accept them. RPG games like Mass Effect however, whose whole concept is based on player choice, that's an entirely different matter. They've said "Here, come on, make your own Commander Shepard, be whoever you want to be, make your own destiny" only take away any real choice at the very end. And that is just not fair, and the reason people are angry.

Games are interactive (some to a greater degree than others), books and movies are not. It's what makes games great (and a truly interesting medium). I wish people would remember that.

Completely agree. It's a totally different concept.

The ending was a terrific way to end a triligy.

As the Occupy Bioware Minority (OBM) continue to be ignored like the jobbless liberals they are, the rest of us who enjoyed the expensive (Fans, Media, and Bioware) are highly anticipating Biowares next fantastic franchise.

You know what's the best part? Like it or not, members of OBM will be first in line to purchase the next AAA series that comes down the pipe.

What a cycle, lol.

Keep up the great work Bioware.

Just reported your post.
We have no problem with you enjoying the end. But we don't call you people jobless or anything else.
We have our arguments and you are free to discuss with us. But not in THIS way.

I wonder how low does a person has to go to post something like the OP. Sad, just sad.

The OP post is gone. At least couldn't find it up to 10 pages before its first quotation.

Let's remember to keep this civil and the Bioware bashing to a minimum. We don't want this thread to be anything other than civil and cool. It'd be easy to get angry or off track, let's not do that.

*high fives everyone*

Eh, ignore the troll. If they actually say something worth reading I'd say respond, but most of it (besides the fact that they liked the ending, which is honestly good for them) was just ****-talk.

I don't see people satisfied with the ending donating $38,000+ to any charities.

Will you forgive me if I don't hold my breath?  That does look like a 4chan post afterall.

I have to agree that looks like an incredible troll attempt by someone, why in the hell would they make a seperate ending DLC planned beforehand. Also how would you be able to continue to play afterward if in the ending if you picked Synthesis or Control endings where shepard is basically disintegrated. Who would you play as? The only ending I could possibly see this is for is  the Destroy ending and thats a maybe.

:o That's really specific (names and everything) = actually happening??

It also seems to line up somewhat with http://www.gamefaqs....fect-3/62230265
where the ending had to be parcelled out like this because of EA involvement with Kinect integration. The guy in the above link also mentioned originally there being a actual range of endings (not just colors lol)

also all of the annoyingly cryptic/trolling twitter posts

Here's hoping!

Can someone explain this "leak resulted in cut content" theory?

The script for the game ending was leaked in november. Supposedly Bioware decided to rewrite it to keep it a surprise. But EA didn't give them the time since the game was already pushed back. So everyone's hoping this is a "placeholder" ending and they're still working on the "The Truth".

Anyone who says you cant ask a writer to change their book has never heard of Arthur Conan Doyle who didnt kill off Sherlock Holmes due to fans crying out and I doubt he called his readers whiny fanboys.

No matter what medium it is you are allowed to express a desire or wish for something different theres no guarantee that it will be acted upon but I dont feel its rude to express such an idea.
