Reporting in. Any news yet? or is it still silence? Hold the line!

Minor (apparent) change in the tone on twitter.

German Fleet requires additional support. UK Fleet still waiting for resupply of tea...Smithers just started screaming 'Man United for ever!' while head butting the drive core.

Both Fleets still managing to hold the line.

QUICK! I found 5 teabags of earl grey and a snapple!

The ending was a terrific way to end a triligy.

As the Occupy Bioware Minority (OBM) continue to be ignored like the jobbless liberals they are, the rest of us who enjoyed the expensive (Fans, Media, and Bioware) are highly anticipating Biowares next fantastic franchise.

You know what's the best part? Like it or not, members of OBM will be first in line to purchase the next AAA series that comes down the pipe.

What a cycle, lol.

Keep up the great work Bioware.

Just reported your post.
We have no problem with you enjoying the end. But we don't call you people jobless or anything else.
We have our arguments and you are free to discuss with us. But not in THIS way.

I wonder how low does a person has to go to post something like the OP. Sad, just sad.

The OP post is gone. At least couldn't find it up to 10 pages before its first quotation.

Just a rabble rouser.  Do not give in to the Troll.

Loved the military bravado. Hold. The. Line. Personally preferred to get the job done and go home.

As some already wrote, as well as I am, even if they give us something this is highly problematic if they release the actual end of the game after the inital release via DLC. That's just strange

I want to say that i'm sorry for the possible gramatical and orthographic errors, i'm french so english is not my native language.

I just want to share my reaction about all the messages who said that we must "shut up it won't change anything, you already have the ending(s) in your hands" or even to those who compare a game to a book or a movie.

When you have a book or a movie in your hands it's over and that is almost always true (i said "almost" for some rare case like the death of Sherlock Holmes, Farscape with the Peacekeeper Wars or even for Mass Effect Deception).

For games, even before the age of DLC come they were some case like Atlus who make "The Answer" in Persona 3FES for the fans who didn't understand the ending of Persona 3 (and for those who wanted more than the main game).

We are now in a time where Developers make DLC so they "CAN" change it if they want, Bethesda already done it with the Broken Steel DLC for Fallout 3.

The Mass Effect serie is a story about choices to make each play different, to make each players playing with theirs own story. Some people said that Mass Effect 1&2 didn't have many different endings and that's true but the two first games are not the end of the trilogy, where all our choices have to affect the end of the story but sadly no matter what choices the players make, that don't change anything in the end. And for those who think "what right i have to ask that Mass Effect 3 have to had better and different endings" ? I would respond that i just want what the developer said that i will have, like you can see here, before i paid 90€

And i won't even go to explain the so many plot holes that the end of the story have because some have already done this, and this is way better than anything i could wrote about it, for exemple GameFront that we can find here

Bioware said that "they listen to the fans" like when they add the Multiplayer part (and seriously i never seen someone asking for it before Bioware announced it but maybe i just missed it) so maybe they will listen this time too.

So like some people said, we are maybe just a "Vocal Minority", obssesed with the end of a gaming serie, whining about we want a change or an explanation about it, but what this make us ?

Fans.

and Bioware :

We are fans of Mass Effect, we are from those who buy your games, we are from those who buy the books, we are from those who buy the DLCs and we are from those who have faith in your great developing style.

We are maybe just deceived, angry or raging like some said,  but i think we are just waiting impatiently for an answer about what you done to this great Sci-Fi serie that is Mass Effect and a part of me always hope that you can restore our faith in you.

Like many others, i Hold the Line until i have what you said i will have before i buy your product.

You had me at Farscape.....:)

One of the things i loved about Bioware was not just the quality of their games but the fact that they really seem to listen to fans. If they don't listen to us about these endings it won't just be hurting sales around the mass effect series, it would damage their overall reputation.

Their decision to either listen to us now or sit by and do nothing will be remembered and will make a difference to their reputation for years to come.

What makes these endings so depressing is how *mind blowingly amazing* the rest of the game is. If there had been just one good ending this game would have gone down in history as one of the best ever created. So close Bioware..

I've lost all hope by now. Shouldn't have trusted Bioware since DA2. Still, we will fight or die.

On another note:

still better than the endings...

Anyone who says you cant ask a writer to change their book has never heard of Arthur Conan Doyle who didnt kill off Sherlock Holmes due to fans crying out and I doubt he called his readers whiny fanboys.

No matter what medium it is you are allowed to express a desire or wish for something different theres no guarantee that it will be acted upon but I dont feel its rude to express such an idea.

I agree. It's like someone saying, "be honest with me, unless I won't like your honesty, lie to my face then so I feel better about it. But if your honesty will make me happy then be honest".

I praised the first two games constantly. I praised the third even. Then I got to the ending, it was just awful, so I am criticizing it. Perfectly fine.

I'll believe it when I see it. But I will remain hopeful for something and hold the line!

IF this is true (and i really don't think that it is true, but at least i hope it is true...) i will spend a lot of money for following dlcs or maybe even some spectre packs.

If not and we will keep the current endings, i hold the line and wont spend any aditional money. Easy as that.
But even though this is most likely a fake, it is a good one (well... almost EVERYTHING rumored around these days sounds better than what we've got lol).

Hate to burst the bubble thats the pic they use on a artical for a MP DLC

Food for thought. If there is really a DLC with the real end coming, I don´t think the joke is on us. I think the joke will be on all those people saying that the end was just fine, perfectly fine with the series etc.

If they enjoy the current ending, how's the "joke on them"? It's their opinion..

They are saying we are crying over the real ending, a perfect ending. If it's all a dream (or something like it), and never intented to be the real ending, I guess they have no idea what they are talking about.

That was mordin's, right?? Talking about Kirrahe's speech?

Damn it. I laughed for a moment, until I remembered how mordin died and the galaxy followed behind...

Shame on you Bioware...
