Considering the number of people who have been trying to pass this off as art or "we're smarter than you", that really would have almost made all of this as worth it.

I fear that is just wishful thinking. I think the DLC will be set before the attack on the Cerberus base. Why? Because after the game ends, you are put right back in front of the Normandy's galaxy map before you start the final part of the game. In ME2 you are sent back to the Normandy AFTER the strike on the Collectors.

If they enjoy the current ending, how's the "joke on them"? It's their opinion..

I would say the "joke" would be on them because they kept calling us entitled, whiny brats over not liking the endings and that BioWare would never change such a glorious end to a glorious series - then Bioware releases "New Ending DLC, because we also thought the ending was tripe!"

The script for the game ending was leaked in november. Supposedly Bioware decided to rewrite it to keep it a surprise. But EA didn't give them the time since the game was already pushed back. So everyone's hoping this is a "placeholder" ending and they're still working on the "The Truth".

If this is the case, SOME WARNING about selling us an unfinished game would have been the right thing to do.  They really need to step up and acknowlege that.  Nice precedent - we're offended we screwed up and let our content get leaked (whose responsibility is security?), so we're going to cut out the end of the game without telling you, jerk you around for a few months with coy tweets, then maybe release it later.  Or not.  We're not telling you.  Thanks for the cash!

As some already wrote, as well as I am, even if they give us something this is highly problematic if they release the actual end of the game after the inital release via DLC. That's just strange

but the reasoning...  put together a lazy half assed ending because of the LEAK!!! ... 

If this is true... yes its a nice olive branch but the fact they did it is the most ... moronic thing i have ever seen.

Wouldn't be able to check, only know Swedish and English to any higher degree. Do know that Swedes hate the ending overall though, and there has been price drops.

That's all I wanted.
Yes, it's cliche, but Shepard has been through too much doom and gloom throughout the trilogy.
I want a happy ending (without plot holes)...

I actually kinda liked Mordin's death. I thought he went out as a true hero. Thane too, he didn't have long left and he chose to go out with a bang. Wasn't that big a fan of Miranda's, though. I thought she had a whole lot more to contribute to the war effort.
