I can't take this seriously.  Every section starts with "I know nothing about this and now here's my uninformed opinion."  Ending with some really bad book analogy that goes precisely against the marketing of the game.  Gabe, really.  Every time he hits a wall with his argument, he sidesteps with "well, i don't know anything about that" or "I didn't check that part" or... bah.  Disappointing.  Gabe just lost a lot of points with me.

I understand his points and why he sees them valid. But he also admits he is not such a fan of the series. I believe there is a different point of view here. I get the impression (and I could be wrong) that he likes space opera endings (such as 2001) and I can fully respect that. But for me (and I assume others with me) care about the now. I honestly don't give a **** if "this generation is ****ed, but it breaks the cycle so it's a win!" (to paraphrase him)

No! I want an ending that respects *my* choices, I want an ending that doesn't do away with every single value *I* have as a player. And I want an ending where I actually "take back earth" (as the commercials state) I want to win!, Period! Is this really *that* hard to understand?

If Shepard dies, fine. As long as I get a proper ending that follows the choices and values *I* have invested in Shepard. But denying players a bright win where Shepard survives is terribly unkind, given the fact that ME is about choices.

I find it amusing that Shepard in the end just agrees to everything handed to him by a spooky "the shining" apparation. If given choices like that I want to have the choice to do nothing at all. And the god AI just gave away everything by saying that he "lives" there. Fine, then blow up the citadel, tell him who´s boss.

The issue with the ending (aside from being completely illogical, outright wrong and sheer nonsense) is that it ignores me.. *ME*... as a player, and that seriously pisses me off.

I dont know myself but will write on Vin Diesel wall he is a gamer he may be sympathetic..also Jonathan Ross here in Uk is big he has his big Talk Show and he is a gamer maybe he can help... I will write to him as well.
But if anyone knows anybody than push it forward.....

Listening to Suicide Mission right now... every time I hear it I can see the cutscenes from ME2 play out... with my characters picking each other up, Shepard leaping onto the Normandy, and everyone surviving. That ending is one of the best I've ever seen in a game. And ME3's was definitely the worst. What a difference a few years makes.

God what a ride. 10 minutes passed since i sat to wirte something and i type an erase every line... You guys said it all already. The best sci-fi game ever created, best story, best characters, tears of joy and pain, days and weeks of playing...uhm wait, not playing - LIVING IT! And to what end?
Someone in BW decided they wanted to bring us a controversial ending (which makes no sense at all as we all know). Im asking why does it have to be controversial? What the hell for? Cant it be simple? Why not kill Shep, save some crew, show what they do after the war. Show my Shep's beloved Tali on her homeworld crying for the man she lost...anything! Was it so hard to make your fans happy? To show hundreds of thousands of fans what they were fighting for?

I have never been so mad over a virtual issue before. I would pay any money to see a different ending. I bought every DLC, even useless appearance packs because i knew BW will deliver the best! I feel so very much betrayed I really hope they fix it somehow....

Meanwhile...IM HOLDING THE LINE!

I hope EA see that all this hate isnt good for there number one developer and make they redo the endings becuse we can not like EA all we want that isnt gona scare them but if you get the fans of the developers angry and not want to buy things from them any more thats gona hert EAs bottom line and i sure if there smart they wount let that happen lets just hope that we get the ending we all want

The writer seems to be a little ill-informed imo.

Its his opinion but I'm  getting sick if that "it's not the destination but the journey" bit, it's both imo. The journey takes you to that important point in the story where everything you have done leads to that point. You can't have one without the other. You travel that long road to see where it takes you and in the end you want to see the pay off of that journey. 
To qoute my good man Max Payne:

"They were all dead. The final gunshot was an exclamation mark on everything that had led to this point. I released my finger from the trigger, and it was over".

The journey took him to that important point of the story. And it was the destination that paid off for him. 

Same goes here we all enjoyed the journey but once we get to the end it's the destination that mattes to conclude the story. 

Thats what I think anyway.

I'm on my iPod and the website came up with the mobile version. Do you know if it can be reached on that or if there is a transfer to the regular site. I looked for it a bit but meiner deutsch ist nicht so gut. Three years and that's about all I got.

Just tried it on my iphone but didn't find a way, and i also didn't find a way with the actual gamestar app

And I feel it's offensive for them to call me entitled because I dare to question. If they don't want to change it, fine, but I would like an explanation as to why all the promises -- and statements-- they made, regarding the game, have now been proven to be false.
