So we can't get the ending we want after all?

I find it amusing that Shepard in the end just agrees to everything handed to him by a spooky "the shining" apparation. If given choices like that I want to have the choice to do nothing at all. And the god AI just gave away everything by saying that he "lives" there. Fine, then blow up the citadel, tell him who´s boss.
Yeah that's the worst part, the kid basically said organics and synthetics will always be at war since synthetics will always try to wipe out organics. I just spent the past 2 games with 2 different AI entities proving that's not true, and the only real reason the geth rebelled in the first place is that they were attacked first.
Despite this I seem to remember Shepard only going "Maybe...." while not arguing the point at all.
Probably the most satisfying moment in ME3 for me was seeing the Geth and Quarians side by side on Rannoch. I genuinely believed the future was bright for them. So yeah, the condescending little brat at the end of the game really rubbed me the wrong way. Especially since I couldn't argue back. Also, the whole synthetics vs organics repeating again and again was done first by Battlestar Galactica and that had a rubbish ending too. It was almost as if the writers thought, "Ok, how can we spoil this... let's get together all the other endings that pissed people off, put them in a hat, and take one out randomly."

I don't think shepard has got up from Harbingers attack yet, and what we saw was Shepard trying to hold off the indoctrination.

If the leak is true about the DLC being called "The Truth"...
Confess i didn't saw the mako there....
Hate to be a downer but it's entirely possible that's just the modelers and environment artists using the same assets to save time.

Read that someone said that the german front is a one-man line in this...well,yeah.
Got to say that I'm a bit disappointed in the mediocre outcry from my fellow gamers on the whole ME3 Endings...many are just like "It is what it is, can't be helped."
God how I "hate" that attitude! <_<
Love to see the reaction from them when this whole campaign really changes something. It will be like 45:
*lights go on* "I was in the resistance!"
Not true, holding the line as well!!
Just not replying every ten seonds. But reading a lot here.
I know that there are people like us who think that the endings suck...it's just...I wish for more people actually "doing" something about it. Like posting here, voting in polls, donating and so on, you know?
But okay, doesn't matter - glad you're on board with us! Hold the line!
Donated, took part in the polls, but yeah, I know what you mean. I'll continue to hold the line.
Holding the line!
I wish more people would speak up too but there's reasons they don't and that's cool.
Exactly. If can't really contribute to the topic, no point in writing it. But I've ben following this topic since monday evening and support it all the way. As I said earlier, my ManShep wants to live with Ashley and my FemShep wants to have the little blue children.

This adds a whole new perspective to the entire ending.
This could possibly mean that Synthesis (the option we see as the "medium" option and the one that requires us to get assets to achieve) could be the correct one, as destruction would be blowing up the conduit/teleporter, and controlling it would be standing next to it and getting vaporized by the energy (much like a power station, only a bit reapery). With the middle option (walking into the beam, literally being us walking through the teleporter...
Who knows? I'm not thinking straight but I'm sure someone could link this into the indoctrination or hallucination (or being knocked the f**k out and dreaming the whole thing) theories in a way that would make perfect sense.

If it's not a recycled setting this makes sense in regards to the "perfect ending." The rubble Shep is in seems to be that of Earth but how the hell did they get there? Unless, they were there the whole time.

So while choosing the Destruction Option, I went straight to Harbinger and fired at him with my Handgun?

Fem shep pic: "My name is Commander Shepard and this is my least favourite ending on the Citadel.
War Assets pic: "Buy the new Optimism DLC! In which we simply assume that a magic ghost will show up and solve all our problems, rendering the galaxy's combined fleets utterly irrelevent!"

Tali Death Scene: "Oh, goddamnit. Now I have to replay this whole mission again..."
Reaper on Rannoch: You reap what you sow. You sowed... death!"
Miranda's..."assets": The kind of end Bioware seems more comfartable with."
Memorial on the Normandy: "going to need a few million more of these, I think..."
Battle in London: "Mass Effect 3's most unbelievable moment - a working London phone box!"

Does that mean that walking into the beam is the best ending because in reality, you are entering the citadel?
It certainly seems that, if Shepard is pushing the whole Sythetics and Organics together, that's the right answer. Destroy is Organics over Synths and Control, while not to the same degree, is somewhat the reverse.

THAT is just mind blowing if thats true, surely that can't be a coincidence?.... Naaah! -

This would be the way to go re: what we thought was reality not actualy being Shepard's fate.

User 5: "I loved 98% of ME3..but something has to

User 1 -Well, i think i'll stop naggin you and trying to

User 3 - But should've confronted the kid
