So we can't get the ending we want after all?

At this point, with all the negative publicity Mass Effect 3 is getting quite literally EVERYWHERE, I believe it's only a matter of time until something is done. Barely over a week since release, and stocks have dropped, game prices have dropped, and everything short of riots have occurred.
Any Bioware/EA statement saying we're just going to have to deal with it is the equivalent of the Council denying Reaper existence. They're going to get royally screwed in the long run.

I have come to trust each of you with my life
But I have also heard murmurs of discontent and I share your concerns
We were trained for great endings
We would be legends
But the records are sealed
Glory in battle is not our way
When Bioware gave us a terrible ending, we held the line
When Gabe knocked us, we held the line
When big gaming sites called us whiners, we held the line
Our influence will bring us great endings!
In our stand today
WE WILL HOLD THE LINE!!!

I saw some of the Tweets, and am cautiously willing to give Bioware the benefit of the doubt. I just hope they realize the longer they wait the worse this will get, and the less forgiving.
All this "spoiler free" talk generates hope, but at the same time could be a time-buying tactic. I just want some way for a real ending with a final boss fight and Shepard reuniting with LI and crew.
All the "spoiler-free" talk just makes me angry. It insinuates that they had something up their sleeves to begin with, thus they knew they were giving us an incomplete product. Then on top of that, they used false advertising (promising our choices mattered) to get us to buy that incomplete product. That is just ****ing dirty business sense right there. And if their ace in the hole turns out to be DLC we have to pay for... well, that'll just be the nail in the coffin.

Do not read anything into cryptic statements made by Bioware on Twitter or elsewhere. There was a SERIOUS problem with DA2 (for those who might not know/remember) and the board was flooded with calls for a patch to be released as the game was in many cases unplayable as shipped.
BW spent a week or so giving cryptic statements and telling us there would be an important statement from them.
The important statement was NOT the patch...it was a weapon and armour DLC.
So it is best to assume that if they talking about a totally different DLC, probably a MP DLC we don't need or want. I'd be happy to find out otherwise, but not holding my breath.

Like the last days. New is, that they ask why we don't like the endings. They just have to take a look here. There are quiet some well done summarys.

I'm mixed feelings on that actually.. If they actually did plan this all along I feel a bit bad for them... if, however, they thought it was a good ending I think they need to realize that they need to perform the equivalent of a 'callback' for a customer service complaint and tell us something that doesn't infuriate us (Cough interviews cough)

I'm not a game developer, but I'm a chap that thinks some of your actions stink and want to ask some things. Will Mr Walters listen to a hate bringer? Maybe - in the past he listened to that chap Riccitiello . Sorry, I couldn't resist, back to business; back in the habit like John Shepard in Mass effect 2 is. Did you ever play that game? It's fantastic. I can lend you the DVD if you fancy it.
Damn, I'm rambling. Damn I didn't mean to say "damn". Damn, I just said "damn" again. I'm a bit anxious I'll be tagged as discriminatory, similarly to your companies history. I know what it's like to have a stigma stick to you, you were in the EA group, I was in the local Scout troop - 'til the parents found out that Baloo liked bear Cubs a little bit more than he should do.
And that's what I'd like to discuss with you, the sick stuff some writers are into. It's like sometimes you're less inclined to find the truth than to hide the abuse under your roof. You're quick to stick it in when other people fail so why are you so unwilling to take this one on the chin? You might think that it isn't my business, but you're into forgiveness, so forgive this:
Your hollow response bothered me horribly, it'd probably be better if you'd not said a ****ing thing. My God, I just swore at the writer, I'm so sorry, honestly. Now that's an apology. Not just promising to modify the ending moderately to smother the controversy you've often seen. It's sick, depraved system failure, it isn't just as if it's a simple "misstake".
You find out you're hiring a quack writer and you don't even make a formal complaint, it's insane. If this was any other organisation you'd be taken straight up to the CEO to make a statement. Now not all writers are quacks, and the game industry isn't permanently sigh-worthy but face it: there's a disproportionate amount of cases; it's almost as if they happen on a yearly basis. You're the Game industrys last hope and loads of people want to see your head on a plate. Now I won't go that far, but it's fair to say that from this day, things better change.

It gave me a warm fuzzy feeling I have to say. Not to mention it gives teeth to the warning that screwing over a beloved series is bad buisness.

If its true, I hope Bioware learned its lesson to never trust his writing ability again with a project of this scope. Stick him in a back room to file paperwork or something, with very little light and alot of rats for company
What about him?

Uh-oh... no personal attacks, remember? (seriously)
I don't see it as a personal attack. I said, IF its true. If its not then I'll hapilly take back what I said about Mac Walters because Arrival DLC was a genuinely good set up for ME3. Matt ward doesn't even work for Bioware or EA in any event.

On my first play through i had to shoot him in the end, and i said to myself "ahhh.... finally, his sick and twisted scheme has finally come to an end!" and then i hear Shepard say "So the illusive man was right all along!" and the Illusive Man choice was blue, to symbolize paragon!
My response? You guessed it! "What the...? huh?" The entire thing was completely backwards. Now i didn't care what was what, I was going to finish what i played this ENTIRE GAME to do, 'renegade' or not. That ending showed not only my romance choice could somehow teleport and ended up on the normandy, but the normady was in a mass effect jump too, somehow ending up on a remote planet that just so happened to support life. Then i found Shepard stuck under rubble, alive... besides the theories going around, i had no idea what was going on, but i also realized that my team practically ditched me...
TL:DR - This game felt like running at 1000MPH then tripping off of the edge of a cliff at the finish line. Fun till the end.
