The 2 DVDs on the boxed version contain 14GB roughly, the extra of which is localization data for other languages. It just determines that you're using english and doesn't install nonessential languages until needed.

I've mentioned this before, but I've done a search through the game files and there's no hidden ending, no extra movies, and only a few unused dialogue clips (nothing related to the Catalyst child.)

On a semi-related note, this thread moves too fast for my comments to be relevant by the time I've posted. :|

All the "spoiler-free" talk just makes me angry. It insinuates that they had something up their sleeves to begin with, thus they knew they were giving us an incomplete product. Then on top of that, they used false advertising (promising our choices mattered) to get us to buy that incomplete product. That is just ****ing dirty business sense right there. And if their ace in the hole turns out to be DLC we have to pay for... well, that'll just be the nail in the coffin.

You know, all this has made me wonder about the nuclear option. If their interviews can be taken to be advertising, I wonder if it can be argued in a court of law if they are guilty of false advertising.

The volume over the past 5 days and the dip (filter that page by 5 days and it's most evident).  You can see the day the game came out, and then the subtle plummet back to 'normal'

Yep.  Right down to the paraphrase of the "Now get the hell out of our galaxy!" line.  sigh...

at this point I don't think I even care any more.  What can Bioware possibly offer now that makes up for the fact that I wasted all those hours, paying full price for a half-assed product, the 5 minutes of staring at the screen going "WTF?" after, and all the bull---- and coy tweets and ... ugh.  Stop impressing yourself with your own cleverness, IT FAILED.  ALL YOU DID WAS RUIN PEOPLE'S EVENINGS WHEN THEY FINISHED THE GAME, and left us all with a bad taste in our mouths, and now you're continuing to act like it was the best idea ever by DRAGGING IT OUT MORE?

I'm about ready to forget the whole thing, and really just want to cancel my swtor account and uninstall every Bioware game I own.  Just be done with it.  This is so **** stupid.

It gave me a warm fuzzy feeling I have to say.  Not to mention it gives teeth to the warning that screwing over a beloved series is bad buisness.

I have to say that EA have had it coming for ages, but I would hate for Bioware to go under because to be honest, the ending was the only bad thing about this game, the rest of it was perfect. Plus look back at their record of games and you will see that they have all been great (except maybe DA2). It's just a shame that Bioware either ran out of time for the ending or wanted to keep out the ending spoilers. Hopefully they can heal their reputation slightly with a fantastic ending DLC.

He's the one who wrote the ending as well as that train-ride of a DLC (Arrival).

Hasn't Shepard at least earned the possibility of such an ending?

Absolutely, and so have we after passionately sticking with this series. I'm more inclined to go with the 'stall them, and this will all blow over. They'll get over it' theory.

It does seem the more likely...but then I move back to the anger/depression cycle.

At least for now I can listen to "I Was Lost Without You" from the soundtrack and feel depressed and at the same time happy about how the scenes with Kaidan played out. So fantastically well written.

Also thinking of Mordin's sacrifice, and how well written that was. It actually made me cry a bit when he said his last line.

I still cant undestand the "no spoiler" thing. Are they meaning that for the Japan release, or it's for some dlc to come and explain everything?
God, I'm still hoping for my Shepard to settle down with Kaidan at Vancouver.
