Obviously, we are all gamers, so people talking about games is good. To those who don’t like the ending, hold the line; you might eventually win out. For those who support the ending, keep trying to convince others that this is the direction the genre needs to go. But ultimately, everyone should talk about it. It will mean better games for the future.

You heard the man! Hold the line!

What, you thought caber-tossing was just for fun? Silly English-folk...

Scottish/English banter, even on Bioware's forum...

Does Scotlands future tech enable them to change the ending of ME3, if not it's pretty useless :P

Well, we can always try to deploy the 'Wheres Yer Troosers' maneuver on Bioware...

It would definitely wake them up from indoctrination.. though we kind of need them to still have their eyes not burned out in their eye sockets to finish the new endings.

That's the downside of it... Also, there have been friendly fire incidents...
Okay, okay, so the 'Where's Yer Troosers' maneuver has some drawbacks. It still works, okay? Everything we use it on tends to stop fighting us. That's good enough for me!

And now, thanks to all of this, I have the urge to make the boots and upper half of the N7 armor, then throw a great-kilt over it...

Errm, wait that wasn't right.

We can stop the supply of...of...errm...wooly socks!?

Yeah because we need wooly socks to stop the reapers..... <_<  nice one.

This goes on repeat now:

"Well, is it true what they say about it?
They say it's new, but I have to doubt it
And then they tell you everything about it
Had enough?
I got some people saying this way
I got some people saying that way
I got some people saying there's no way
Ain't it tough?

See the idiot walk
See the idiot talk
See the idiot chalk up his name on the blackboard
See the robot walk
See the robot talk
See the robot write up his name on the ballot
They say, this is all I need to get by
The truth is, baby, it's a lie"

Damn, they've got Hob-nobs too. Ok we're in. It's done by fairies.

Kilts and fairies? What about Nessie?! Don't tell me she isn't real. Would be as bad as hearing Bioware say "yes, those *are* the only endings you are getting"...*sniffle*

My friend just pointed out on facebook that f***ing twilight had a better ending than ME3. I think that's a cue for me to go to bed...

Oh my god.  That's actually true.  And Stephanie Meyer only wasted like 40 hours of my life with her puerile writing.  I've invested, I dunno, around 500 in Mass Effect.

We need a new has tag. #MassEffectShouldBeBetterThanTwilight... maybe I should make it more concise...

Concentrated awesome. Although somehow I know how it'll end:
"I'll show you what a true Scotsman has under his kilt, an M-920 Cain!"

Yup, looks like mainstream bloggers and "journalists" are doing their best to lower their readership.

I understand the need for there to be at least one tragic ending. I would have been perfectly happy if my first playthrough ended in Shepard dying (as long as it was a bit better written than the current endings). As long as I know that I can start a new game and get that release of a happy ending, I'll be more than happy. The second and third games are already dark enough without needing a dark ending, I just wanted to be able to fall back in my chair after the finale with a smile on my face and say "What a ride!"

I respect that Mr. Hudson wants the series to not be forgettable, but why not just trust the writing throughout the series to do that? There has never been another video game that has been able to evoke such a powerful emotional response from me. All you're doing is trolling your fans with an ending that you knew would upset some of us. I had a conversation with three of my friends after we had all passed the Citadel attack portion of the story. I was amazed by how different our games had been up to that point, none of ours were even close to identical. There's your talking point! Why do we need a controversial ending to talk about a game we already love?

I have an idea. If this synthesis ending is so agreeable to this Master Reaper AI, why didn't they build the Catalyst themselves and throw an organic in the synthesis soup beam, many many cycles ago? No terrible reaping necessary. Except maybe they already did this and that's how THEY were created and now they're just homicidal maniacs.

I still can't get over the fact that when organics "screw up" and build synthetics, the Reapers harvest/absorb organics instead of just destroying the synthetics, teaching/helping the organics to understand the consequences of their actions and leave. If you value life/consciousness (which the God Child claims they do) you don't destroy it, you teach it. If your kid is old enough to drive, you don't say "Well you're getting too smart now, you can drive this dangerous machine. You might hit and kill someone someday with it, I'm gonna have to kill you now so that doesn't happen."

:wizard: Magical Reaper God Space Wizards are not a logical race.

At least now we know why they decided to introduce a multiplayer aspect to the game; they knew that everyone would be too depressed to play through again.

Why is it, that whenever I remember Joker taking the SR-1 and heading off sovereign head on (still get chills), I just nearly break down at the thought of him running away...  I'm just bothered by them throwing him so out of character!!!!  He runs from nothing, and he's the best in the alliance!  That's why we WANT him as our pilot!  No one else was running away!

I can't get over these tweets. I think the details are pretty well documented and for all to see if you take the time to look... on the one hand, I think it's a better reply than a hollow "Thanks for the feedback," but it still comes across as pretty empty.
