Also just tweeted the link to the Mass Effect twitter.  My tweets have yet to be recognized but I'd like to think that it's cuz of the huge influx they're getting and not that they're intentionally ignoring me.

I find it amusing that the press keep refering to this as a small subset.

So I post on these forums, none of my friends or family do, neither do my colleagues.

But they all have the same opinion and experience of the ending. How many of you have the same situation as me?

That adds up to be a lot of people...

I think it'll be interesting what happens with those press articles and journalists that have not just been offensive to the fanbase but are also badly researched.

IGN, Gamespot, Kotaku etc.

Surely hardcore gamers are their man readership, seems pretty silly to purposely offend them, no?

Ive been thinking If every Mass Relay is destroyed does that include the ones not reactivated by the citadel council? If it is does that mean Shep killed even races we haven't even met yet?

I respect that Mr. Hudson wants the series to not be forgettable, but why not just trust the writing throughout the series to do that? There has never been another video game that has been able to evoke such a powerful emotional response from me. All you're doing is trolling your fans with an ending that you knew would upset some of us. I had a conversation with three of my friends after we had all passed the Citadel attack portion of the story. I was amazed by how different our games had been up to that point, none of ours were even close to identical. There's your talking point! Why do we need a controversial ending to talk about a game we already love?

Seconded.  RIght now I remember ME3 for firebombing my favorite series ever.  I'd love to remember it as a great conclusion, with lots of varied endings, to an epic story.    I loved playing ME3.  Until I hit Lodon.  There was so much awesomeness in that game, and now I feel as cheinara2 put it, " like I had just decided to kick a bag of puppies."

UK Fleet needs to withdraw for resupply and to check Smithers into a mental hospital.

Require additional force to cover Eastern flank during absence, any units available?

Damn, they've got Hob-nobs too. Ok we're in. It's done by fairies.

Magical fairies?... and heres me thinking that you all got your powers and resources from magic kilts... i can live with that ;)

Kilts and fairies? What about Nessie?! Don't tell me she isn't real. Would be as bad as hearing Bioware say "yes, those *are* the only endings you are getting"...*sniffle*

:crying:

Isn't it obvious? Nessie is a docile thresher maw. We just need to throw her at London and call it a day.

Still this is one article that needs to be reposted. It shows every reason why I hate this ending in a far more concise manner than I ever could...

I dont see why Bioware finds it so hard to know what was wrong with the endings. DA Origins was one of the best rated games and that is a game where you really did get mulitple endings. If you wanted to die a hero's self-sacrificing death you could but there was also an option to live and run off with your LI. Bioware always boasts that it gives us these kinds of choices and freedoms, its worked in the past, so why these linear endings for ME3??

Which is why I have said Bioware is better that this. You make a game like DA:O give the player endings he/she saw fit.
"Want to die a heroes death"?  "We got you covered, and we'll show you the aftermath and what your companions are doing".
"Want to be with your LI at the end after saving the world from impending doom"?  "We got you covered there too, where you can  run off and live the rest of your life knowing you beat the odds with your team of heroes" We'll also let you know what the world has come to and what your companions are doing".
So here we have a game with a save the world scenario and survival not guaranteed, but  the odds have been beaten before so with that in mind there should be options for those who want that heroes death to save the world and those who want to be with lovers and friends after such a huge victory.
It's as if they felt they have been there and done that, but so what?! You can take the same ideas and work them into this game.
I really like what Jermey Jahns said about giving those who earned it a good ending.
Listen to his Sheaprd/ Garrus beach scene idea. I would love something like that. Because Shepard has earned it, heck they all have.

Well I am officially joining the movement... eh been here since the beginning, but just now finished the game. I thought I was prepared for the endings, I wasn't. I just don't get it, none of it.

ME 3 was the best game I have ever played, then to end it the way it was ended, I just don't understand.

I'll be over here sobbing like a child.

Yes, same here, even though I am the only one who posts online about game every gamer I know feels exacty the same about the ME3 endings!

I have found that most gaming journalism has gotten like that recently. but I think that it has to be that they are more scared of offening the developers than the fans!!
