UK Fleet needs to withdraw for resupply and to check Smithers into a mental hospital.

Require additional force to cover Eastern flank during absence, any units available?

Fleet coming in from the South East. Got ya covered :police:

Requesting the SSV Newcastle to join your fleet for cover absence?

Granted. You control the crumpet supply after all ;)

i've played all games (and did Every sidemission there is in all three games), read all book and comics.
And i find it funny that there is 3 endings that..

1. lack positive clousure: in all endings the hero that we are attached to emotionally, dies.. No happy ending?!?!

i would have wanted an happy ending were battle is won = party on earth in the rumble AND/or skip forward a couple of month to a Ceremony on Semi-restored citadel were shepard becomes counsellor, geth get embassy and so on depending on the choises I/YOU made in the Game/Games...

either way, after this this ending on earth AND/OR Citadel, se see shepard and his/her LI kissing and watching at the stars from the presidium wondering what will become of the galaxy, then you wake up day after in bed with LI walk out on the presidium (thinking -Ahh, its a brand new day, time to rebuild the galaxy) and you can continue playing and perhaps do DLC if that is to come...

paragon/renegade choises in the game decides witch races are still alive and or still part of the counsil and what characters are still alive IF some die. instead of different colors of end cutscene LOL
think what you want of that ending suggestion, just trying to give some contructive critisism and i think it took me 5 min to come up with an ending that would please a lot more than those endings that we were given did.

( this was ofc suggestion for paragon ultimate happy ending, whitch is what i would try and get, someone else can make suggestion for renegade ending, and "paragade" endings main theme)

2. the 3 endings are all the frikkin same. Wasnt this hole triologly suppose to be about the choises in all 3 games leading you up to different endings compleatly. think there is a bioware episode of casey saying that its nice to do a third installment were you choises can give you compleatly different endings. WHAT THE **** ??!??

ALso on a seperate note about the writing (this kinda ties into topic since seriously fans have spoken and the writing of the endings was Really Badto say the least.
in my head things went bad when drew stoped beeing the lead writer! think about it and you know might agree?.
(im counting in the books and so on aswell into this)

im sorry bioware but i think that ME3 was accually very porely written considering the potential character development that could have taken place.
1: the game felt to small/fast for me.
2: to little choises in dialogue
( the endings was even worse than that thing called deception, DID DEITZ WRITE ME3 ending? rofl)

just take the comic about ARIA and Omega, that ends with the "continues in ME3"
Seriously bioware, all she did in ME3 was:
sit in a bar on the citadel and give you some crappy side missions ( really small ones)

and seriously her character development weak at best!
Any writer could figure out that the fans would want to take back omega Side by Side with Aria.
this was even hinted in the comic with the "to be continued in me3" in the end of the comic.
(then again you hinted that our choisesin all three games would inpact on the endings too,... EHUM!?!?)

Omega was a key stronghold for for cerberus and thier "husk making research" beyond Omega4 relay on collectors base by establishment in the comic, and that would have made more sence too aswell,
TIM and his main base on the other side of omega relay on collectorsbase, Not on the citadel during final battle.

as steve jobs would have said: "You're ending it wrong."

That's what they're telling us: 'You're interpreting it wrong.', 'You are feeling about it wrong.', and whatnot.

We shouldn't have to asume things in the end.

Every single forum I go to that has an ME3 thread, including non-gaming forums with an off-topic section, has the majority of people commenting disliking the ending.

Oh, hey, hey!
Bioware love us back today
Never ever sink our ship and sail away
Oh, ah, ah!
Bioware don’t shut us down
Give us all the endings we need and we’ll be gone

We are Mass Effect lovers
Drinking the night away
Our endings are made from hope
It is searching for your response
But you don’t care

All I want it for Shepard to get a piggy back ride from Grunt while drunk celebrating her victory and then for everyone to do the robot to remember Legion. I dream big kids, I dream big.

What, you thought caber-tossing was just for fun? Silly English-folk...

hey remember! the england provide your tea and crumpits! -__- i can easily stop the supply chain...

Damn, they've got Hob-nobs too. Ok we're in. It's done by fairies.

Magical fairies?... and heres me thinking that you all got your powers and resources from magic kilts... i can live with that ;)

Kilts and fairies? What about Nessie?! Don't tell me she isn't real. Would be as bad as hearing Bioware say "yes, those *are* the only endings you are getting"...*sniffle*

:crying:

Isn't it obvious? Nessie is a docile thresher maw. We just need to throw her at London and call it a day.

And *theres* the 'secret ending'. I *knew* it!

Totally. The berks in skirts are the galaxy's true saviours!
Totally canon.

And on that note, SSV Glasgow's turnng in for the night, kilts and all.

So if they are now asking what was wrong with the ending to the game on their twitter feed, can someone please tweet them a link to page one of this thread? They might have missed it...it's not like the thread is 1200 pages long or anything...it's not like it is on their own board or anything! ;p

Hold the line

Yes it has been, I've never seen a response to the article though, so far the ME twitter account seems to be pretending it doesn't exist. Yet for some reason they keep asking us for a concise respone to the ending in 140 characters or less....<_<

The ONLY reason for this, IMO, is so that they can say later that they asked for details but only got [insert easy-to-dismiss reasons here].

Sounds cynical, I know, but I've spent too many hours in board rooms listening to executives circle the wagons to think it's anything but a CYA move.

Well, it has pretty much given me an aversion to ever finishing the game again; so I like the fact that it was so intensely unenjoyable that I will never have to experience it again (apart from the Achivement run, but I intend to turn off the screeen at that point.)

They're not going to get many details in 140 characters. On the other hand, look at the length of some of the posts here. A good number of them are constructive and have plenty of good ideas for fixes.

I find it amusing that the press keep refering to this as a small subset.

So I post on these forums, none of my friends or family do, neither do my colleagues.

But they all have the same opinion and experience of the ending. How many of you have the same situation as me?

That adds up to be a lot of people...

I think it'll be interesting what happens with those press articles and journalists that have not just been offensive to the fanbase but are also badly researched.

IGN, Gamespot, Kotaku etc.

Surely hardcore gamers are their man readership, seems pretty silly to purposely offend them, no?

Dont read into thouse big mainstream sites. If they say otherwise they might lose exlusive content from EA next time. So they cant say otherwise.

And 30k people and still rising is not the minority. Its well beyond the majority. Its statistics thing.

Its kinda like when a news station predicts the statistics down in % of how an election is going, they go out and poll it. Crunch some numbers and make an estimate that is usually not fare from the correct number of who is voting for who. Its basicly the same for ME3.

It can no longer be ignored by BW. They have to address this soon enough, especially after the asia launch.

However once, again, this is something that needs to be reposted.

I mean, who can watch this with a straight face and tell us that we got more than 1 ending?

I know you guys are trying to be funny and i get the PTSD  joke but  lets trying  avoid it we don't want to step on any  ones toes here... or give the nay sayers something to use against use.. like

"OH look at this entitled  mouther breathers they are making of  people with PTSD  comparing their dislike of a game to  serious emotional truama"

Just saying guys..

and yes Bioware owes Mansell an apology wasting  that damn fine piece of music ... on  those endings... man terrible,
