Done and done. They've stopped listening to my twitter a while ago though...they liked me so much more before I finished the game. ...I wonder what changed.

Yes. I just hope they don´t do the: "strange that you say so. We got astronomical scores from great sites, and fans are loving the game. We don´t know about any dislikes".

I tweeted the gamefront article at them.  Have yet to get a response.

Hopefully it means that they're taking the time to actually read it.

We've been tweeting it at them for over a day I believe, unless they're planning on memorizing it word for word I'm pretty sure they've already read it.

If not then I doubt any amount of tweeting will get them to read past the title.

The problem was not us having to assume things in the endings. The problem is that we assumed in the beginning Bioware could deliver a good game...

I suspect their media relations team, which has specific positions to monitor articles, has already photocopied and put said article into a dossier for the execs in case they want to read it. I can also guarantee that they know about us.. we were probably their main focus yesterday, and especially today. They're in damage control mode, I honestly suspect they're taking ideas from ALL of these threads here and there and probably going to integrate them into whatever DLCs are forthcoming (whether or not that means we get an ending is a different story). They'll then say that they listened to their community and integrated some suggestions into the story. Which, honestly is true,... I just hope they have an ACTUAL ending DLC... The ending just isn't good enough for Bioware... I really don't want to lose faith that they didn't intend it

Well I am officially joining the movement... eh been here since the beginning, but just now finished the game. I thought I was prepared for the endings, I wasn't. I just don't get it, none of it.

ME 3 was the best game I have ever played, then to end it the way it was ended, I just don't understand.

I'll be over here sobbing like a child.

I'm glad you posted.  This helps me.  I have a friend who has yet to play ME3.  I was torn between preparing him and not ruining it.  Then a little later I felt guilty like maybe I didn't tell him because it would hit him harder.  this makes me feel better and get me to stop second guessing myself.

I find that extremly insulting of them. Trying to tell us there is 17 different endings, it's not different endings if one minor detail is a very tiny bit different than in the other endings. It is the same thing and they can't say they couldn't see this coming. Announcing the choices matter and there will be 16 different endings to the game and then give us 3 with minor changes to them, and even those 3 are the same really. Makes you feel like they think you are a complete idiot.

That's almost like the swtor devs saying that the patch will be the biggest ever in mmo history just because they stacked up stuff that they should have included in the game already over the past months.

I don't need 16 different choices, i can happily life with 3 if they are a) different satisfying and c) make sense. and none of that is the case with any of the endings provided right now.

If you want people to talk about your ending you don't have to make it bad and full of plot holes and "mysteries", you can achieve the same thing by making it mindblowing awesome. Which could have easily happend, if they had just included what is now called the dream/indoctrination theory after you made your choice in the current ending. I'm pretty sure a lot of players would have been "omg that was amazing" if it was done well and everyone would have talked about it, without giving the company bad press.

As they realize just how badly they've miscaculated, they'll have to address us directly. They HAVE to realize that their silence is only hurting themselves, that they can still salvage a lot of this...either by telling us that:

A: We have an ending done, this was just a publicity stunt gone wrong, and it will be out in a week after more of the world has had a chance to play.

B: We're going to change the ending because it's obvious our customers, our community dislikes what we have done. We tried to be clever, and it obviously didn't work out how we planned.

They have to know that all of this is because we love the series so much. I started this in ME2 personally...I loved the game so much that immediately upon completion I bought the first one to play...literally 5 minutes from the moment I saw the ME2 ending. It is, hands down, -the- best series for combining choice with excellent storytelling, hauntingly beautiful and unforgettable music, and quite honestly some of the best characters I've ever seen, hands down.

Bioware break the silence, please tell us what's really going on.
