Also, looking on the ME3 Twitter page, I see a lot of people complaining about the ending in pretty harsh terms (it sucked, was crap, garbage, s**t, etc...) and then, when they're asked what they didn't like, most of them haven't even responded. I don't know how much it's worth but BioWare is actually asking them to back up their statements and they're not responding to them. Seriously, BioWare is asking for feedback from these people and they can't be bothered to respond to them? Can't help but think this makes them, and by proxy us, look bad. Hopefully they get on top of it soon.

Well there isn't much of a way to deliver a well resoned response within 140 characters. If they really want our opinion they can see the multiple walls of text posted by person after person in this thread, or they could just look at the long articles we keep linking them in response.

There just isn't much you can say in 140 characters other than "The ending sucked, will you please change it?".

I really think we have to start linking them to this forum when they ask for reasons. Or make a forum specifically for very detailed, critical points on why we dislike the ending, so we really can give Bioware a good answer when they ask. Organize our resources, everyone. <3 We've got a chance yet.

Hold the line, and remember, Paragon choices. Keep the insults to a minimum, civil discussion is a must!

I saw that a few days ago. So funny. My favorite comment:

I like to imagine that the beam of light is Vanguard Shepard charging from relay to relay.

Lulz with Vanguard logic my Shep can escape everything.

I would love it if there were a 'Truth ending where my femshep woke up still in the fight (that would help me get back into the game and forget my despair feelings from the first 'ending').  Then because you were 'out' for so long you have to figure out where everyone went, then you find them and help them win a mini battle, then you look your LI in the eyes (Kaiden Image IPB) smiling at him/her in your joy and random soliders and the other crew member you brought with you, and you're barely holding on; but you held the line (Image IPB).  Then a renagade husk (or something) comes knocks you out or something as your LI saves your life.  Then cut forward to waking up in a hospital.  Have a wonderfully sweet conversation with LI.  Then end with a party, ride on Grunts back, clink to a happy and full life with Garrus at the tiki bar on the beach with the dead reaper bodies in the water, you both take a shot, Garrus then looks lovingly at Tali (or you depending Image IPB) and you then give a knowing smile to LI and walk towards them.  Fade to black.

And heads up, this is only one of the 'good' endings, cause there has to be more than one!  (Good, better, best)  Same for Renegade.  (Jerk, ***hole, taking over TIMs role)

Alert: Someone with a twitter needs to respond to a comment by ME

The exhange:
@masseffect @jheckholdt There are 3 different color endings with minor variations between them. Let's not pretend otherwise for now, k?

@billybrinks But what about the journey that it took to reach them?

Obviously the ending alters a lot of people's feelings and experiences to the point that many don't want to play through it again. And why would the ending really matter if we get the same ending with small differences? I don't think they get it....

Anyway, if someone does respond to this I would really appreciate! As would other fans I am sure.

So, its been almost a week since I finished ME3. Still fell **** whenever I think about it. I think The Escapist comic ( http://www.escapistm...t-3-The-Process ) best described what I went through after seeing the end. I was in stage 2 when i last posted on this form (about page 500 i think) And i Just needed to rage. Now i think I'm in stage 6... not quite ready to accept it yet. lol

But, over 41k raised for Child's Play in 2 days! Wow! That really raises my spirits. Way to go guys! Nice to know I'm among such a generous group of people hopefully I will be able to chip in but I'm a poor student without a Job at the moment (was only able to afford ME3 by trading in some of my older games at EB) but who knows maybe ill be able to put together $5 in change that could go towards a good cause! Anyway keep up the good work everybody and hold the line!

I think they are taking baby steps. If they wanted to really wade into the issues they could create a forum thread and ask fans directly what didn't you like. I guess they have the review page for that but all the same they're taking small steps. We have to be patient and let them process they're getting the message and that is what is important. Holding the line is not about Krogan charging in like a bull in a china shop. Patience Padawan

Oh don't get me wrong I'm not condoning those posts at all. I'm just stating that there's no real way to give a coherent response to the question "Why was the ending bad?" in 140 characters. The people who are flaming them are acting childish, i'm just saying that due to the twitter limitations childishness is the only thing that fits in a post.

http://www.twitlonge...x.php/main_new/  is useful for when you need more than 140. I suggest if you really want to get to them through twitter perhaps use this.

Huh didn't know about that at all. I'll definitely use this next time I make a post, thanks!:)

I played through ME1 and ME2 probably ten times each, and I was planning on playing through this one just as many. Even though the game was awesome in every aspect except the ending, I don't know if I can play through it again right now. I like my Shepards enough, I don't want to subject them to the terrible things that happen. It's a big downer to know everything they are trying so hard to help in the game will ultimately be for nothing in the end.

Didn't the ILos conduit collapse due to the power failure?  I just figured it was one of those "You're never getting it running again" things.

Just remember people, keep things civil. We're trying to offer constructive feedback to the devs. We don't want to be ignored because we're being arrogant sooks. We want to be heard because we're being level headed fans that want to see something amazing come out of the ashes of a terrible ending!

Hey, dudes - I know it's been mentioned a couple times tonight already, but if anybody hasn't responded to the Mass Effect twitter yet and would like to, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea. There really is a lot of just 'endings too similar, confusing', etc. without a lot of explanation as to what we want besides 'closure' which sounds pretty vague to me, I dunno.

If we want a good ending/happy ending/an ending with a chance to 'win' - or maybe that's just what I want, but I hope some of you do too - I think we should be upfront about it.

Just puttin' it out there.

I have on several of them; they also asked if you could put feedback about the ending on the forums what would it be.  I linked them this sub.  Saying leaving us with a cliffhanger dream.....not cool :D

+1 and not only here, there's more on twitter. I wish everyone could understand that anger and bad mouthing and accusation won't help our cause.
